Ross and Stumpy

What happened to that big Glen or Gene Ross? He had a HUGE stomach and he could deadlift a ton. Last time I seen him was when he was deadlifting against andrews "stumpy" Ryns or something like that. I used to like watching Stumpy but I havent seen him on WSM in a while.

Glenn Ross was banned by IFSA after the 2003 WSM. Apparently, he got into an argument with Dougie Edmonds and ended up throwing Dougie's infamous hat onto a fire. Squatter could tell you more about that. Ross is now with the other federation (**broken link removed**) and has done some powerlifting (**broken link removed**).

Andy Raynes is still about, he came 5th at this years Britain's Strongest Man.

yep! Glen snatched Dougie's hat and tossed it into a bonfire. HAHAHAHAHA that was some funny shit. dougie exercised his supreme authority on the spot and banned glen right then and there. IFSA is a mess so glen didn't mind. IFSA is supposedly on the up an up but we'll see... everyone says glen's federation is awesome. all athletes get all expenses paid to compete. now thats cool!!

squatter, have you seen stumpy up close? How big does he look for being so short?

ya he's thick no doubt. but the WSM show exagerated his BW. he was probably like 240-250 in that show. I could be wrong though. when guys are that thick its sometimes hard to guess. I've seen pictures of him on stage ripped to the bone at like 210.
