I just transfered my gear into a vial with a 18g. Now doing this a small piece of rubber from the top of vial cut apart and landed in the gear. What concerns should I have about this. Thanks
You might want to use a syringe filter when going back into the new vial. It would be very bad to inject pieces of rubber stopper into yourself. The big problem with 50ML or 100ML vials is over time you will knock pieces of the stopper into your gear. I remember getting so frustrated with all the rubber floaties, it was like trying to play a dodge ball when trying to draw up my shots and not getting any stopper in the syringe.
My opinion is, if its only one small piece just remove it and you should be ok.
Just work around it everytime you draw from the vial and if it get in your syringe let it get to the top and just shoot it out, you will loose just a little gear, nothing to worry about though. Try using a 20g instead of a 18g.

If you suck that rubber up into the syringe and then inject it deep IM; you are going to regret it. Potential infection, potential abcess, definate pain. If you can get your hands on a syringe filter use it and transfer to another bottle. But don't take the risk of injecting a piece of rubber deeply into the muscle.
