Serge Nubret in a coma?

…for 3 days? Is this true? I am hearing he was dieting for a show at 70 years old? If its true I really hate to hear this. He was one of the original greats.

Hi everyone. I have just heard the terrible news that Serge is in a coma in Labroisiere hospital in Paris. His daughter has told us that as yet they haven't confirmed what has caused this and as of today, Serge is in a more stable condition.

Hopefully his recovery will be very quick.

i just checked out the thread. apparently his daughter confirmed this with a member. i believe its true. they said he is in stable condition now. i wish him and his family the best. he seems like a really nice guy. he's one of the best ever

I hope he is ok and recovers quickly. He was one of the bodybuilders back in the 70's that made me a closet bodybuilder, being I powerlift. Good luck Serge, may god guide you.

a bit of an update maybe someone here knows more ,thought i would post this info from another board. as some of you may know serge has been in the hospital for months now with very little information coming out to the public. supposedly he had a stroke and it was be blamed on the fact that he was getting ready to guest pose in contest shape , just a day or 2 before he was supposed to pose he had the supposed stroke and people were saying he was 70 years old and maybe getting down to to 3 /4 percent bodyfat was too much for him. In that video as awesome as it was was a few months before his stroke andhe had not really started his diet yet. people that saw him at the gym the day before his stroke said he was again just shredded ready to roll on stage. anyways maybe for most 70 year olds that explanation seemed plausible but not really for serge he was going so strong with videos on youtube from a few months before showing him with 20 inch plus biceps in the gym , it was crazy. he was in the gym everyday for hours posting on the message boards everyday like mad. it just didn't seem right, from everyone who saw him he seemed so healthy. people from the gym were saying he was going to shock the world when he stepped on stage that he was in that good of condition

now this comes out. seems there was some sort of funny business going on. one thing with serge is that there always seemed to be a lot of drama in his personal life:

Dear Friends of Serge,

Tommy and I are putting together a card to send to Serge from all of his friends and fans to show him love and support. Serge has been in the hospital since March 18 when he was poisoned at Pascale's apartment and sent to intensive care toxicology. A police investigation has been going on for the past several weeks to fully examine all who were involved and the cover up at Lariboisiere Hospital (where Serge had been sedated/drugged into a state of coma/confused trance where he did not recognize anyone for over a month and could not move or talk). His daughter, Karine, an anesthetist, was the doctor in charge of him. No one was allowed to see him.

When the police became involved, Serge's condition started to improve immediately--less than 24 hours later he started to recognize people again after the drugs/sedation were ceased. He is still unable to talk or move very much. Police District 10 is not giving out much information right now because of protocol/security procautions; some of his family are currently under investigation.

If you would like to add a message to Serge to lift his spirits, please send it to me or to Tommy at [email protected] and it will be included on a card for him. Before Serge was poisoned, he was in one of the best conditions of his life. His physique looked similar to and weighed the same as it had decades earlier at his best. Because he had no heart attack/stroke and his heart/brain MRI was also normal, we are hoping for recovery of memory and health and that there is no permanent damage from being poisoned, drugged and sedated. Please send him positive energy and prayers.

He was a notorious iron 'pumper' didnt lift heavy too often-opted for reps and getting a pump- built an incredible physique with that approach.
