Should I up my Calories while on GH

Hey Guys,

I am currently running 2iu/day of GH and looking to increase it to 4-5iu per day in 2 weeks. I am looking to put on lean mass. As of right now I am taking in about 500 calories more than my daily BMR amount (approx 3200 total on a clean diet). Thing is, do you guys think I should increase this amount given the GH intake?

i would say no you are already eating above maintaines, if you do increase make it one more protein only meal, its hard to give an opinion though not enough info.
 
I have never taken GH, but I was told by the great Boyer Coe, that he had to really up his cals to keep muscular bodyweight on when he was using GH.

He mentioned that the GH was good for fat burning, more so than for putting on mass.

What body type are you??
 
i have the worst genetics, lol, if i stop training i would be a skinny fat guy, what you say mr boyer told you makes no sense to me, yes i believe gh is better at burning fat than aiding in muscle growth, but remember gh is a growth factor so it's anabolic, it is lipogenic [it burns fat] and it is anticatabolic, in my case gh made a big difference in the body composition, i always used it about 1 our before workouts to burn as much fat as possible. people should understand that your diet should be very clean while on gh otherwise it will have a negative impact on your long term bodybuilding goals! how? too much sugar and fat in your bloodstream will give you insulin resistance plus a host of other complications.
 
Up your test while on GH! Then see what your body wants..........it should be more protein and a slightly higher amount of carbs......if your carb intake is really low! But do not just increase bulk cals. go 250 cals at a time and see what your body does. I agree this is very general info to use but then we have no real stats or info to work with.

do you mind explaining? my thoughts were that gh can cause insulin resistance no matter what your diet..
