Sick and on a cycle...

I'm in the 2nd week of my new cycle and I think I've come down with the flu. Haven't worked this week and only made it to the gym on Monday.

I'm hot and sweating with chills, have NO appetite and am sleeping 8-9 hours at night and another 8 or so during the day.

Anyway, the last time I was this sick was WAY back in 2002, before I was using gear. Do you guys pull back when you can't train and are sick? Is is necessary?

Since Sunday afternoon, I've basically subsisted on whey+natty PB shakes, whey+oatmeal shakes and chicken soup. So I'm getting my calories, just not able to eat solid food.

Doc says it's viral, not bacterial, so all I can do is rest and stay hydrated.

Any other input?
 
take a break from the gear except the test at low dose and focus on recovery until you can get back at it 100% and then start blasting the compounds and the diet again
 
I just came down with a cold, and I'm in my 6th and final week of a short cycle. I've never had a cold while on, so I decided to go balls-to-the-wall to see how it goes. I came down with it on Tuesday morning and have trained - delts-Tues, off-Wed and quads-today. I've also done 4 straight days of cardio, however, I'm into The Hunger Games, and only read it when I'm on the treadmill. I can't put it down. I've never looked forward to cardio before.
I'm tired, but feel pretty good.
 
I feel like I'm starting to come out of it...I really hope I am. I'm getting SO tired of this couch!:banghead:
