Slow site to change pages

Just wondering if other members here are having the same problem of the slow page changing in this site? I’m not having this problem with other sites and it discourages me and others from visiting/recommending this site.

Although I have unlimited bandwidth and memory since it's my own server, it seems the actual machine cannot handle the site anymore.

Early next week the site will be transfered to a new much larger server and it should be lighting quick again.

Now, to the original poster, I don't particularly welcome people like you here. If you can't be fucked waiting a bit extra for the quality of information that is here and you 'threaten' about going somewhere else, be my guest!

I've been on many other sites, and from time to time they all have this problem. Even the "big guys" like MSN will have some occasional issues. (In fact, MSN is worse.) I assume there is some server somewhere that needs rebooting and will just wait, knowing it will be back to normal within a day, or less as was the case here. Like those other sites this one is pretty fast the overwhelming majority of the time, but the content is always much better. And there are no popups, spyware, or spam from here either, which I particularly appreciate.
