Soy Sauce

Any views or real experience on whether a bit of Soy Sauce on my chicken and rice meals is good or bad in a cutting diet?

I use approx 1tblsp to add a bit of flavour and do this twice a day.

I've searched and read articles on PM but the discussion was more towards soy powder and milk. So I'm still none the wiser.

Yes ! I know
I just want to turn you on to something that does not have the same effect as regular soy. So you wouldn't havta worry so much about quantitites .
Just a thought nothing more.

i know if i go too high on my sodium i blow up the next day from holding water like crazy. Off the top of my head, 1 tsp of low sodium soy has about 500mg. I try to keep my sodium around 3000mg for the day so i wouldn't do this or i would hold water like crazy, maybe your body is different though.

I love soy sauce too…

…especially on rice. My concern with soy sauce is the amount of sodium, so I use the soy sauce lite which has 50% less sodium.
