ok so i drank one of these Spike! energy drinks today before my workout....WOW. it gave me SO MUCH energy. i had the best workout of my life...by far. does anyone hav any feedback on these? how safe they are? anyone else used them?

Have no idea, I am using SyntheBurn, great too, like duracel battery, keep going and going and going.......

Look at the ingredients list on the can or bottle. My guess is it's got something like guarana (sp?) in it which is a nervous system stimulant like caffeine. It may even have caffeine in it.

If you list the ingredients, perhaps some of us can tell you what causing all this extra energy you feel.

It's the caffeine that's giving you the energy boost - especially if you're not a regular drinker of coffee or caffinated soft drinks.

All the warnings are based upon the fact that caffeine is a nervous system stimulant, and if taken with any of these other things - heart meds, asthma meds, which can also be stimulants - can result in unhealthy levels of stimulation.

OK, so the energy boost is safe?

Great. I love those things.

Yep the caffine and probably the Yohimbe. I use the old ECA stack and after about 6 weeks of one week on one week off the effect starts to get less and less so i throw in the Yohimbe and it kicks in just like the first time I took it.

All of the new energy drinks give me awfull heart burn about the same time they kick in so I stear clear of them.

To bad Ephedrine is so damn hard to find in pill form now days
