I moved last year and was with ATT and when I had no signal in my house, the fucks charged me almost 200 a line to cancel my contract. They weren't providing a service to me (no signal) but that didn't matter so I had to pay just short of a grand to cancel. I will never do business with them ever again. That is when I went with Sprint and I doubt I will ever change.
