What is meant by squeeze the muscle. E.g on a bicep curl is it to flex at the top of the movement or does it mean try lift it as far as possible and try and lift it beyond the top the movement.

What is Mind-Muscle Connection? Mind-muscle connection is a psychological aspect of training in which you focus on feeling each and every rep and recruiting specific muscles. It is about more than just going through the motions of each movement, but rather, focussing on a conscious and deliberate muscular contraction.

In order to maximize efficiency and get the most results from your home gym workout, you need to squeeze your targeted muscles during all phases of the movement no matter what exercise you are doing. There are three phases of a muscle's contraction, and you need to focus on the squeeze during all of them.

You are correct, flex at the contraction. Squeeze it hard for a few seconds. It’ll make that workout much harder! Personally I had to lower the weight because I’d get to fatigued.

Lift as far as possible!!! No you don’t want to do that. You are going to take the tension off the biceps and put it on the shoulders and traps.

It’s like on the leg press or hack squats at the top of the movement you don’t slam your knees back and flex your quads. Eventually causing knee problems. You see what I mean.

And don’t over extend/stretch your arms on curls especially preacher curls you will rip the biceps off the bone!

To help with the pump and muscle connection/contraction I use 5mg Cialis pre workout. Most pills are 20 or 25mg I split the pill in half and then split the half so I have four pieces enough for four workouts. Give it a try great pumps!

I take it you're referring to POF training.. rather than me rambling on ..
 
Sissy squats I've not done for a while. POF is actually quite efficient as it's not high set training but compact & direct.
