Stacking meals

How many of you guys end up having to stack meals on your offseason?

I find myself doing this with my last two meals sometimes, end up eating them as one large meal.

Id imagine it’s suboptimal VS spreading them out, but still better than not getting it in.

Imho I don't think it's that big of a deal as long as you get your calories in and you are digesting well.

it is of great importance because each meal has its impact on metabolic processes taking place in the body so if the coach writes you 6 meals, I would not combine them into 5 because each meal has a specific macro for no reason

if you have a problem, e.g. with eating 6 meals, I would set the diet to 5, but definitely not to combine 2 meals into one because it will reflect xle, e.g. on insulin sensitivity and digestion

I work in the medical field, I miss meals pretty often.

What usually do is “split” the middle

Say I had 3 meals of 50p/40c/15 fat, and I know 2 meals is all That’s possible, I’ll do something like 75g/50c/20g. I wouldn’t try to make up all the carb fat calories missed.

Yeah, if at all possible DONT stack the meals.
If i have to go to bed 90 mins later or get up an hour earlier to space my meals apart, i do it.

I would sometimes have them closer together then i had planned but not by a lot. Twice the size meal would mean twice the stress on the gut and digestive system as i see it and that would be far less then optimal. If that was often a problem i would start eating my meals a little earlier to allow myself some time later if i got behind.
