Steroid Testing

Let me first start of by saying... long time member, first time poster. My question deals with a upcoming drug test that will be required prior to a new LE position. I do know they are testing for a panel of drugs and anabolics are included. I am currently taking 4 capsules of GAT's Methyl Depot a day. It contains Methyldrol (2a,17a di methyl etiocholan 30one, 17b-ol) which they refer to as a "designer steroidal". Now obviously they wouldn't test for every prohormone on the market but could taking this throw off my test or estrogen ratio thus causing a red flag. Any information or advice would be greatly appriciated.

i saw walgreens now has a test at home steroid test. You have to mail out the blood sample still and it is $80

Most drug screens are specific in what is tested for. Do you know? Is it a 5, 10 or 20 panel?

More importantly, is it a Mass Spectograph? This is what you should worry about above all because it detects everything and there is no hiding it.

This stuff is legal, but if it is a banned substance for your LE position, U is in trouble

Even if you pass the drug test, I don't think you will pass the polygraph, unless you already have somehow?

LE...? good luck bro! i had to take AAS tests and i had to pee in a huge jug and they tested for my epi test vs test ratios...so i guess that was locating all androgens due to the spike in testosterone!

prohormones can cause positive.But you still aren't taking an illegal substance.You MAY have to explain if test is positive.But since it isn't illegal and you are not an employee yet,you should be O.K. Have you done cycles in the past? like mentioned that could be a problem if polygraphed.Good luck bro,hope it works out.

the designer steroid you are taking is a superdrol clone i believe. it may have metabolites similar to illegal aas. this steroid is supposed to be the oral form of masteron. You re testosterone level will be extremely low coming off of this steroid. i do not know how that will effect your epitest test ratio.

What about those "clean tea" products that recreational drug users use?

First off, why would you take anything while you're going through the process of this type of job?

Second, why did you wait until you had just over a week left before your test to ask this question?

yes, in fact that is the standard way to test for epi/test ratio. Blood test are very difficult, urine test are very easy. To perform the test an extraction of the analyte(s) is done which is much easier to do with urine then with blood. The extration is added to a diluent and tested against a standard using a HPLC-MS or GC-MS. Testosterone levels are not the issue, the issue is epitestosterone to testosterone ratio. Your body does not have a steady production of testosterone, it does it in spurts so having a high level of testosterone at any given time is natural, having a very high level of testosterone with out the isomer epitestosterone is indicative of using exogenous testosterone. I believe, unless it's changed recently, the exceptable ratio is up to 7. Ideally it should be 1/1 but some factors naturally occur to cause more test to epitest so WADA allows upto 7:1

what? if your using testosterone then yes the testosterone can be the reason for having a high testosterone level. Not sure how tren factors into your question actually not sure about the question at all.

why do they test for it? its not mind altering like other drugs and not physically dependent.

I don't think most employers do test for it, I'm just curious really if anyone has tried to beat a test somehow.

I know with Testosterone you can take Epitestosterone and "trick" the test if it's not a spectrometer test. Beyond that I have not heard of any way to do it beyond switching out the urine. I'm just taking a pro hormone but I would venture to guess that it would give a positive for AAS and no employer is going to listen to PH explainations. A positive is just a positive to them.

And I have yet to see any place you could get Epitestosterone anyway.

Wow, they give you a polygraph? I am pretty sure they do not do that to lawyers, I didnt figure they would with LE either.
