Stomach feeling bloated from all the meat!

Alright guys before I start my diet is real clean havent cheated in a good while. I woke up this morning with my gut sticking out feeling like I have to shit but even after the morning shit I feel so damn bloated. Maybe it’s the steak what do you guys take to help this. I’m not really looking for something that I take and will be spending the whole day on the toilet.

Get ~40 grams of fiber a day and most of your bloating should be resolved.

Probably taboo for this page but I've been vegan for a while now, well plant-based meaning I only eat meat once or twice a week, and the first thing I noticed was my stomach shrunk down a couple pant sizes.

Add cod meal, and a few meals do whey isolate +4oz meat. Digested quicker

I made a protein blend from TN that sits great, 40% whey iso/30%beef isolate/30% casein for meal replacement.

I'm the opposite. Carbs do it to me but I pound 2 to 2.5 lbs of meat in a sitting since I do if with no problems. Maybe try probiotics. My digestion seems off every now and again and a few weeks of probiotics seem to help.

White lean fish is much more easily digested in my experience. Cod for example is cheap, high quality, lean, and can easily be eaten pre workout without stomach discomfort. try doing the same with a steak :eek:

8-9oz cod is very easy to get down and I’m starving 2 hours later lol

I find a certain ratio of fiber to meet keeps me feeling well. If I feel bloated I avoid meet and eat more veggies and the problem resolves until next time.

If I were you I'd decrease the amount of meat you are eating and increase your vegetable content. You are not going to loose any muscle having one vegan/no meat day. You will cleanse yourself and feel much much better.

24 hour fast helps to reset things. You might need to empty your colon from time to time. I no it sounds basic but it helps. It gets worse as you get older and the quick fast thing helps and actually seems to increase nutrient partitioning afterward. Just don't pig out once your fast is done.

I doubt it's the meat and more a lack of green vegetables. You eat any of those? Fresh and raw. A guy at my gym is eating 8 meals a day, pound and a half of chicken and beef each, and 9 cups rice, daily! Says he has no room for greens but he barely shits. He thinks his body is using all of it, there is nothing left to shit out, lol. Fiber from real food is key
