Hopefully some of you guys can tell me WTH is going on with me.
I woke up Monday morning and could barely turn my head to the LEFT or pull my head back. Each time I would turn my head I felt a pulling and aching sensation in my right upper lat, right trap, around my right rear delt. If I tried to geta good stretch and go more to the LEFT and hold it I would feel a small ache in my right medial delt. So my girl came home, found the spot in my lat, and just went deep with an elbow on it. After this the range of motion in my neck was 100% better but still achy.
I woke up Tuesday morning and the same things but muuuuch better. I decided to take another day off because I don't have insurance and can't afford to throw caution to the wind. My girl comes home again and this time she loosens a knot in my right trap. After this I could move my neck no issues and no pain.
I woke up today and felt just a little pain and decided to hit the gym for a shoulder workout. Here's where I am completely stumped. I can neutral overhead press, shrug, flye (medial and posterior), and behind the neck pulldown. I have a full range of motion and lost no strength on these exercises. But I cannot do a standard overheard press. Any ideas why I can do everything but overhead press? My old chiropractor told me there's a million nerves in your upper back and a lot of times one can get tweaked and throw everything off.
