I'll admit I've never been a big stretcher but now that I'm getting older I really need to start implementing it in my routine or outside the gym.
Tired of struggling putting on my socks and shoes.
Anyone know of any good videos or info to get started?
 
This guy is kind of a dweeb but I’ve been following his stretching routine for a while now and it’s really helped me. I don’t think it really matters what routine you do, just make time to stretch everyday. Best thing I’ve done for myself in terms of feeling and moving around well

Check out a YouTube channel called “ Strength Side” he has some very good flexibility videos.
 
Seems to depend on why a person wants to stretch. I started doing yoga over 50 years ago. And have stretched on and off all my life. Can't say when i have been doing it long term that i noticed any great benefit. Several meta studies that i have seen show it is about 50/50 whether it helps or not with keeping one from being injured. Whether i am stretching or not really hasn't mattered as far as injury. Most injuries are in a normal range of motion so being able to relax a muscle more for greater range of motion wouldn't matter it would seem.
