Glucosamine/Chondroitin combo & MSM for the squeaky joints, garlic for heart and cholesterol, ginko for the mind, ginseng-overall body tonic, Multi-vitamin to make sure I get my daily's, creatine for cell volumization, glutamine to help with nitrogen retention, papaya enzyme & fiber (I used to associate it with old people, but it really makes a difference when I'm eating a lot of protein - aids in digestion), Isopure (vanilla only...other flavors of the stuff don't really appeal to me) and sometimes an ECA stack for energy and thermogenesis. Even when I'm not on, I still pop a zillion pills a day! LOL!

1)Multi-Vit. x 2
2)Flax oil x 2 Tbl.
3)Glutamine x 20g.
4)Whey x ~80g.

I'll try different supplements from time to time through out the year, (like eca stack or creatine). But these are my staples. Don't forget the most important thing of all, LOTS of high quality WHOLE food.

good point stan
for all the beginners here, the most important thing is to try to wear your teeth out, lol
seriously tho, if i had the choice to eat meat or drink my pro, i would eat the meat, but that being said, i would be eating allllll day, (even tho i already do that, lol)
i try not to count protein in gms, just drink it every chance u get and use abt 60+gm per shake
so if u hit 5 thats 300 supplemental gms, not to bad

just do the following, LIFT-EAT-GROW, its basic and easy to follow
lol

OK
SINCE I AM DRUG FREE FOR 4 YEARS NOW, I HAVE HAD TO USE SUPPLEMENTS!!!!!! HERE WE GO, AND I KNOW THAT I WOULDNT BE 255 AND HARD RIGHT NOW WITHOUT THIS STUFF.

1. CREATINE
2. MULTI VITAMIN, MINERAL,
3.ECDY-KITO (GREAT PRODUCT, RAISES FREE TESTOSTERONE LEVELS!!)
4. OMEGA -3 FISH OILS. (NEED THESE IF YOU TAKE FLAX SEED OIL TO PREVENT THE CONVERSION TO ARACADONIC ACID FROM FLAX. IT IS BETTER TO USE OLIVE OIL IN MY OPINION)
5. ANDRO-275
6. HMB
7. SYNTHETEK PRODUCTS(ALL)
8. 1 ASPIRIN A DAY
9. SMALL GLASS RED WINE PER DAY
10.TRIBESTAN
11.FAT BURNERS
12. HUMANOFORT

SURE
ILL TRY, BUT MY DAD IS THE CANCER SPECIALIST, I SHOULD HAVE HIM POST BECAUSE I JUST REPEAT WHAT HE TELLS ME!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA FLAX SEED OIL CAN CONVERT TO ARACHADONIC ACID (BECAUSE OF THE LINOLEIC ACID CONTENT)WHICH TURNS INTO PROSTAGLANDINS. THESE PROSTAGLANDINS CAUSE INFLAMATION IN OUR TISSUE, AND INFLAMATION IS IN ESSENCE THE BEGINNING STAGES OF A CANCEROUS GROWTH. IF YOU INGEST FISH OILS,OMEGA -3 TO BE PRECISE, YOU CAN COUNTER ACT THIS CONVERSION OF THE FLAX OIL. OLIVE OIL , COLD PRESSED, EXTRA VIRGIN WILL NEVER CONVERT TO ARACHADONIC ACID, IT IS A MONOUNSATURATED OIL, AND A GREAT SOURCE OF ENERGY ON A LOW CARB DIET. THERE IS A GREAT SITE OUT THERE WITH A BRILLIANT MAN WHO THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY SAYS IS THE LEADER IN THIS FIELD TODAY. HE IS DOCTOR BERRY SEARS, AUTHOR OF THE ZONE DIET. I THINK HIS SITE IS DRSEARS.COM, IF ITS NOT, ILL CHECK, OR YOU CAN TYPE IN KEY WORD BERRY SEARS.

Question for Phil Hernon

FLAX SEED OIL CAN CONVERT TO ARACHADONIC ACID (BECAUSE OF THE LINOLEIC ACID CONTENT)WHICH TURNS INTO PROSTAGLANDINS. THESE PROSTAGLANDINS CAUSE INFLAMATION IN OUR TISSUE, AND INFLAMATION IS IN ESSENCE THE BEGINNING STAGES OF A CANCEROUS GROWTH. Phil,
I know you posted this almost 3 years ago, but I have a question maybe you could answer. I just finished reading Enter the Zone, Mastering the Zone, & A Week in the Zone. And I have now just started reading The Omega Rx Zone. Dr. Sears demonstrates that Aracodonic Acid indirectly causes inflammation in muscle. If we remove the AA from the equation by using Omega-3s, we eliminate the inflammation, right? But as bodybuilders, whether novice or pro, isn't muscle inflammation critical to proper muscular hypertropy?

Thanks in advance.
-EJ

Phil, I had no idea your father was a cancer specialist ( the big guns in the medical community.). I hope this is an acceptable question . . . What was you Dad's oppinion when you were at the top of your game? Did he ever comment on your use of AAS?

Thanks,
Boo.
