Find another med or supplement the one you have.

Do not fuck around with high dosage bp meds.

i dont think it becomes more effective after 80mg

my lisinopril max is 40mg, more doesnt do anything.


try other stuff - cialis, high dose citrulline, low dose beta blocker, etc.

I thought you had been prescribed a calcium channel blocker to take in combination? Any reason you are opposed to a CCB? As stated above telmisartan is not typically taken above 80 mg.

I’m taking nifedipine er 60mg and 80mg of telmisartan. Since I’m moving I only have one more refill left on my nifedipine,none on my telmisartan but I just order some from china. So I’m in kind of a predicament. I’ve been calling of the doctors what specifically specialize in hypertension and majority of these fuckers don’t have appointments available until the start of September.

Where do you live? Any internal medicine/PCP should be able to prescribe you the CCB given your medical history. I would contact whoever treated you during your nosebleeds and tell them your situation.

That’s the thing my pcp prescribed me the telmisartan I’ve been taking that for a year and the icu doctors in the hospital prescribed me the nifedipine.I’m moving next week so I’m in a fucked up situation. Shit i have to wait until the end of September to be able to see a ent doctor for them to do the surgery. I’m actually going to miss Florida because I never had to wait months to get a fucking appointment to get anything done.

Check out Zocdoc and find a new primary care doctor in your area or wherever you’re moving. You need to be medicated properly. Doesn’t need to be a specialist.

I think as long as you can properly communicate your recent medical history and need most providers should be pretty accommodating here. Not like you’re asking for a controlled substance either

If you just need the prescriptions, try Teledoc or another telemedicine service and explain the situation. Usually you can get a telemedicine appointment the same day. I've done this several times in a pinch and they were able to write the scripts for me.

FWIW 20mg cialis doesn’t make a dent in my blood pressure. It’s good for other things. Just not this

You are not going to die between now and when you get this sorted.

No on the Cialis.

Not really considered effective for bp, better meds out there. And I would never self-medicate with Cialis. You start mixing and matching at this level with these meds it is a very slippery slope.

But you seem very keen to body hack this, just be very careful. You are messing with one would consider an essential organ.

I sit at like 5.2/5.3 potassium just on 80.

I don’t know your full health history. But I’d find a good cardiologist, a sports one preferably. In today’s time telemed is very common. I’d look more into why you need, or what is causing you to need two BP meds.

I’d suggest low dose Nebilivol for cardio protective benefits alone as a bodybuilder. Apologies if I missed a thread on here with more info or health history.
