It goes without saying those things come after training smart, nailing the diet and sleep/recovery.

I have done both and honestly didn’t really get much from either so stopped doing it. Deep tissue work and stripping the muscle fibers is the most effective thing I have found, but damn does it hurt. 😂
 
For me I’ve had horrible elbow and knee pain, I found just not doing movements that hurt really was the only thing that helped. Limiting the amount of heavy pressing per week aswell. Bpc does help for the pain following the next few days and you’ll be able to feel better sooner but won’t heal tendinitis

No movement is a must and no movement is optimal if pain is the outcome.

Dry needling didn’t have an affect on any tendon injuries for me. I’ve done it two separate times, for 3 months at a time. Other than feeling good during the needling

No need to sterilize the skin to use DMSO. The transdermal properties have been greatly exaggerated in regards to what it can transport across the dermis.
I was unaware of the exaggeration, I have always used precaution, thanks for the information. That said, were not a lot of guys using it is a carrier to bring other compounds into the blood stream? I have never done this, just used the DMSO by itself since it works well as a stand alone product for soft tissue injury / repair.

Many confuse it's transdermal properties for chemicals with a potential to transport pathogens across the dermis. Microorganisms, even viruses, are magnitudes larger than anything DMSO can transport.
 
I would be very careful with the curcumin/turmeric. Highly concentrated supplements can contain a lot of oxalate, which can over time form crystals in the kidneys and then progress by combining with calcium to form crystals in muscle and tendon which can cause severe tears and injury. It is an anti-inflammatory, so in the short term things can feel better, but I personally had a few injuries while taking it, so never touch it now. The studies show people forming crystals with a measley two grams of turmeric a day, let alone a concentrated supplement. Ginger root is better, without the issues. To be fair some curcumin supplements have a lot and some a little oxalate, but it's certainly a gamble if the amount is not shown or known.

Dmso makes me very itchy that persists for days after stopping. I would itch myself bad enough to bleed in the middle of the night.
