Could you write an example of what you exercises you do? I'm older (50), trained with high rep pushups, pullups, situps and long runs when I was 17, this was due to a desire to join the Marines. Which I did, and realized what I had been doing, while trimming a ton of fat off my, was overkill. In my 20's it was all about heavy weight. As I am getting older I feel like I get better results, as far as just looking leaner and feeling better, with full body workouts pretty much every day and lots and lots of reps. I am just curious to see how other people do it. Thank you.I get what you are saying. But when you do everything everyday you pick different exercises, and you wind up hitting more angles as well. I used to think it was rocket science. I had to train each muscle group once a week and destroy every fiber with micro tears everywhere. I had to get x amount of protein and calories each day. Did that for decades didn't make a ton of progress broke down got old. Now I still take it kind of chill at home just do sets and reps at a slow pace because I have all day. But when I go to the commercial gym I do whatever is open until I want to throw up. Then I just eat as much as I can without feeling stuffed always prioritizing protein. I think the newer strategy may work better. I admit I have no evidence and I am a skinny old dude now. However if I look like Ronnie Coleman in 6 months this was my Eurika moment. All this has come together in my mind the last 12 weeks as I recovered from surgery by need if nothing else. But I think I may be on to something.

I'll try to get back on track. My opinion on high frequency aka modern training theory where you are better hitting a muscle 2-3x a week and bro splits are garbage...Great topic but a lot of garbage and it doesn’t seem to be getting any better, contemplating throwing a big lock on it unless we get back on track.
