test suspension and slin pin?

Hi bros,

Is it a good idea to shoot your test suspension with a slin pin? Is the clogging better this way? What do you suggest?

Univet suspension used to fit through (RIP), not sure any of the current offerings will though. 21g is probably your best bet.

yeah good luck getting susp. through a slin pin. most will go through 25 gauge. also interestingly enough i was thinking about that univet when i saw the post title and someone else already said it. yeah that univet stuff was AWESOME

there are definitely a few which will flow through a 27g slin pin.

Ha isnt that the truth. I remember using the old denkall aqua test. I would load it up with an 18g pin intot he needle. then draw enough back the leave the needle attachment hole on the syringe clear of suspension. i would pug in a 23 or 25g pin (depending on what i had available) and then inject it. I would get reay to push down on the plunger and it just wouldnt budge. I would have to push as hard as I could to get it to move.

I remember one time I was so pissed I took out the needle and pushed on the syringge plunger just to get it going and I ended up splattering suspension all over the ceiling of my bathroom.Aquatest and sydgroup/jurox suspension were notorious for having large particle sizes. The only suspension I have ever used that was good and would flow through a 25g pin with ease are the agrovirions.

23g by inch and a qtr. The slin pin will not get deep IM. And yes it will clog.

I always inject everything with 25G needles. This test suspension gets clogged easily and it is becoming very annoying. I have 23G needles too. Would they work better? Aren't they too thick to inject?

cut in a larger bottle with b-12. before shot apply slight heat to bottle if necessary. i had an old george forman that i'd let the bottle sit on for a min or two, swirling frequently, and not actually letting the stuff get hot.

this will let the crystals fit through a much smaller pin

Anyone knows if it would be ok to inject with a 23G needle? Or would this needle be way too thick?

MOST test susp would never pass through a insulin pin..22-23g,,maybe.

If its micronized it should. Steris, Univet, and Dpharm definitely do(did). Don't think any of those are being made anymore although not positive about Dpharm.

There is def some dpharm still floating around... but very far and few between. By far my favorite before I made my own.

in most cases of visible crystals, you can add a little benzyl benzoate and then heat, and they will dissolve.
