Good article. Living in Japan I see first-hand this marketing tactic. With the accelerated life-cycle of products here I can see the massive influx (and exit) of enhanced "healthy" foods and drinks. Aminos in this, green tea in that, gaba infused chocolates, etc. Put collagen in anything and the office ladies will buy tons of it.
And all of them come at a price premium, to the delight of the producers.
