Tom Platz in Scottsdale

I was the facilitator at Tom Platz's seminar this weekend in Scottsdale..It was fantastic. He and his wife are two very unique and kind people. I was able to give Tom a little ride around town (it took him like 20 seconds to get into my car) which felt so weird with one of the greats sitting in my passenger seat. He and his wife even offered to give me training tips over the phone for an hour a week for 7 weeks one on one! He also invited me out to meet up with him in Cali if I'm ever out there. He autographed an awesome posing pic for me and I'll post it on here as soon as I can. All in all it was a great weekend.

He was doing one of his ISSA seminars right? If so, he was at the Pure Fitness in Tempe (off of Curry) a few months back and also had the please of talking to him. He is a very down to earth guy....and very approachable

Yeah, he's still in good shape..He said he has a lot of shoulder problems from doing behind the neck exercises that he looks down upon now..He said he was happy getting in the squat rack and doing 350 for reps the other day--but when he says reps its like 20+...Yes, it was the ISSA seminar

Jethro I know the exact pic you mean. It was '81 I think, the year he placed 3rd in the Olympia to Dickerson (?). Its a clasic pic no doubt. Unequalled quads. His hams and calves were unbeatable too.

Is he still retaining any size?

Super nice guy! What a thinker... He's always got his brain going... There's always some mental gymnastics going on in his head!
