Hey everyone, I have a question which is of the newbie nature. I have been training for quite awhile now (ten years, not as long as some, but nothing shabby either) but I have never gotten into the mental half of training the way I have begun to since I began lurking on this forum. I have always trained one body part per day 2 on 1 off. I have recently begun trying to vary the way I workout by grouping body parts such as chest and triceps in order to hit each area more frequently but still get adequate rest. When I would train one body part per day, I would tear it up and always get a good pump in the area trained. However, now, it seems like the pump is most prevalent in whatever I happened to train last on any given day (if I trained chest and tris, I get a great feeling in my chest prior to starting tris but after all is said and done my tris feel like they are going to pop and my chest feels completely deflated). My question is, is this a natural physiological occurrence, or am I not doing enough for my chest? I assume that the blood that engorges my pecs during training rushes to my tris when I train them, but I am not sure. I have had my share of problems with over training and in my caution to not over train, I feel like I may do too little. Any help is greatly appreciated.
