UPS and Fed Ex controlled delivery

I grew up with the local the Fed Ex and UPS drivers . I always get packages from them for work at home. Both guys said they never do any deliveries with the Police. They said that the Police have their own guys dress up in a UPS or USPS or FedEX outfit with backups to catch you. UPS is in a Union and they are not allowed to be some sort of decoy. If I were to get a package (gear)from a guy that I don't know I might be nervous. OH yes. Even if you don't sign it means nothing. Possesion is all they care about it. It is better for their case if you do sign for it.

I was a supervisor for UPS for five years at their largest hub in the world....We would see anywhere from a half millioin to a million and a half packs come through DAILY.......I have seen many, many things come through, from guns to drugs to large amounts of money. Assuming your packages are coming domestic, you really have two worries.....One is that your package does not come open or leak...If it does, you are fucked because they will open it up. Secondly is that some law enforcement agency is watching your source. Anything coming international is a whole different ball game...

Oh, and I also dont buy the whole "flagged addy" theory...Having seen literally billions of packages go through, you really cant hardly imagine the intricacy of the whole operation...

I dont know if by using the USPS automatically makes it a felony...I do know this...If I were to send items via mail, and of course I dont, I think USPS is probably the way to go.....USPS is something like 10 times larger than UPS, so the chance of them "catching" your domestic pack is much, much smaller....and they handle sooooo much ebay home biz now, that its just not that big a deal for a guy to do mail order anymore....

If a package crosses state lines, it could be federal.

i thought that usps they need a warrant to seach your packages, but with ups and fedex they dont?

not anymore...

plus if your goodies leak, they have to open it for safety reasons...make sure your source packages good or you can find yourself in an orange outfit.

Since UPS and Fed EX are private business...The can open any package without a warrant, I will take my chances with USPS any day.

i think there is some truth in this.back in the mid 90's when this whole internet thing wasnt off the ground yet,i would order cases of winstrol from vet companies.while this didnt last long when the police tried a controlled delivery,the UPS guy wasnt my usual delivery person(plus the package was 2wks late),so i immediately was concerned and i denied the package.the guy was like"look it has your name on it, i just need a signature" and im like,"i have no idea what this is and i never ordered anything from this company".he still tried again for a signature,until i closed the door.........i was later told about a month later by my usual UPS guy that the police stopped his truck and took packages addressed to me.i never saw those packages(my girl was pissed,as they were mostly her bikini's for the summer that year) and i was never told by the police why they were taken...........so i think this might have some merit to it......

Exactly...I realize that...what Im not sure of though is that it still may be a felony even if you use UPS or FEDEX...Thats what Im not sure of....I would assume so, but I dont really know.

I hear ya man! I wonder the same thing myself.

it seems the gov. thinks if they take away our rights little by little we wont notice, kinda like when your a kid and you sneak some spare change out of the little dish your parent keep on their droors, you have to be sneaky and not take a lot at one time so they wont notice!

This guy says it was the police that tried to get him, If it was a felony wouldnt you think federal agents would be the ones trying to get you?
