We Scored Big at Huge San Diego Show

I cant ask for more than.... an overall win in the Masters and Open class for 45 year old Jon Norland and a 5th place figure placing for member Jackie Ambrose in figure.

The show was the biggest in local NPC History as over 250 competitors competed in San Diegos biggest ever bbing show.

I started working with Jon Last year for this.....and nothing less than the overall win was on our mind for a guy traveling 3,000 miles to compete in a bbing show...

Norland pulled of wins in every class and took the whole show and so did his wife..

This was truly a big night for all of us. I want to thank all the members here who supported us in the journey and who were in attendance. Also..

Jackie Ambrose who pulled down a 5th place trophy in her class is more than a respectable accomplishment as well.. I cant ask for more from someone who improved so much in such a short time. But the best is yet to come for her.

The day was a long one..... as i had to leave the show early and travel 110 miles to get home to my 1 year old son majorly sick for the first time in his young life. His high fever, coughing and crying was more than enough to make me decide i had to leave early to attend to him.. Hes still not doing so well..

Alex, first and most importantly I hope your boy feels better soon. Jan looked great and I enjoyed spending the day with him and fiancée. Per our conversion man....he listened to you to the end. His stage presence was very professional. Jackie...great job girl you looked ggreat and we all know that you will do nothing but improve for the next show..hope you enjoyed your beers and beef sliders! You deserve it. I had a great time hanging out with you all.

I took him to the ER this morning and he is in the hospital right now....

Suffering from severe dehydration.. Hes doing a lot better but will be spending the night with us by his side!

Had to the same with my 4 yr two weeks ago bro for the same symptoms. Prayers are with you and your family...he'll be fine just need to get him hydrated and stable.

hate to hear about your little boy Alex , my 5yr old has been up all night with vomiting and diarea , smells like the "Rota Virus" several kids from the gym daycare have come down with it , I'm sure he picked it up their.

take care of the little guy , at that age its amazing how fast things change.

Thanks everyone for your concern and support about my son..

This really was tough to see my son crying and in pain with little i can do..

then at the hospital seeing your 11 month old with an iV laying in a hospital bed ...and still in discomfort was not easy.. I stayed with him the whole time to ease his pain.. but it was more painful for me than him i think... anyways...

He came home today and should recover well.. my wife and i have to make sure he stays hydrated and on top of his medications...... his recovery should go well..

Thanks again... it means a lot to me...
