Weird effect after injecting. Happen to anyone else?

So about a month ago I took a glute shot and the next day, down towards my sweep(about 6" away from injection mark) I had a big lump. Wasnt really red or hurt, just looked swollen. Almost like a big water deposit about 4" by 4" It went away about 5days and has been fine ever since. So, a few days ago I did a delt shot, and about 2" down from the injection(right where the lateral shoulder meets the outer bicep head) is the same. This time it hurts just a little but nothing bad. Looks swollen but not red. Feels kinda hard to touch. I've been icing it. Any idea what the hell this is? Its so weird how its happening inces away from the injection site.

What are you using?? I've had this after Stan shot to the delt. Just swelled up a bit and got sore. No infection at all just irritation to the muscle. I've not had this happen with oil though. Could be nerve and a reaction to being poked. hard to say!

Prop and NPP. I doubt its an abcess b/c it doestn really hurt and isnt progeressivly getting worse. Its just staying the same. Feels hard and kinda sore.

have the same problem here with oils only

I was thinking it may be related to scar tissues or irritation

it gets swollen for a few days and then leave ....

Yea i get some swelling from prop. But it usually stays over the inj. site. Gets pretty sore......at least I know it's real! But I know exactly where it was made. Maybe try to massge it after about twelve hours. may help relieve the swelling but it will still hurt. Just have more sex...............takes your mind off it!!!

WHEN I FIRST STARTED INJECTING IN THE GLUTE MANY YEARS AGO I REMEMBER HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. MY WHOLE FIRST CYCLE WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE.

I just did a test prop shot in my delt and it did the same thing...here is a friends explanation of what is happening:

"the hormone and oil seperated and since your body temp can not keep the hormone disolved it crystlizes is a clump and usally hurts like a snake bite for a few days.To avoid this pain with prop and shorter esters you can prep the shot after you draw up the prop and switch to the dart tip your going to use run the syringe barrle under hot tap water for a few minutes. This way the solution is close or higher than body temp so when you inject you can rub the site and the hormone will displace over a large area and minimize hormone clumps and the pain with it"
