Well I have seen it all now

Ok this is the first show of the season in TN, this show usually has some pretty good competition...BUT this year was not the case. I sat this year out to try and grow into a bigger LHW. Last year this show had 7 LHW's and this year only 2, and 1 of those was a JOKE.. Middle's were the best class.

Benny Blair won the OVERALL in the heavies.

But now for the joke...here is the pre-judge for the Super's yes only 2 of them and the kicker is this show is a QUALIFIER every year so this guys qualified for a NATIONAL show. Why the hell do these judges allow things like this to happen???

I personally think it's almost insulting. People put a lot of time, effort and sacrafice into bodybuilding. I think it's almost a mockery of the sport.

I wouldn't go try to file someone's taxes if I wasn't a CPA, nor would I sit on the bar exam if I wasn't an attorney. I feel the same way towards this. It looks like he just left Chick-fill-a, threw on a bikini and stepped onstage..

Where I'm from we have a small local show every year during the summer. Every year this guy, mid twenties, shows up looking like that guy but the size of a middle weight. He obviously has no posing rooutine preplanned and just goes about his merry bussiness. Absolutlely ridiculous. I mean I could look past him doing it once but the guys has entered the show 6 years running and looks the EXACT same every year. I mean he could at least lift some weights. I mean even if he ate like total shit but at least lifted he would make some improvements year to year.

I have talked to the shows promoter and he essentially told me he will never turn away a paying contestent.

Just remebered there is a guy in the masters that is equally as bad. Some people just are not right in the head.

Thats the funniest part, can you imagine him this week at his hometown gym..." hey dude I am going to do the nationals this year, I got 8 weeks I should be able to get lean enough for it". "The judges told me to just get a bit leaner and I am unstopable!!"

I would love to hear to hear this guys opinion on himself.

Sometimes things are just out of our controls....

For smaller shows around here there is (and always) be a guy that shouldnt be in the show, or shouldve decided to start his diet a tad to late...LOL !!!

I agree, if I was the promoter I would do this at weigh-ins friday night. I would STOP the guy after registering for his NPC card ( because you know this guy just showed up without ANYTHING) and explain to him that maybe he should let a few guys weigh-in so he can see whats EXPECTED of him.
