Surgery went well

Wow man, glad to hear that you’re coming along pretty well. That’s actually very good protocol and kind of similar to what I’ve laid out for what I’m going to do. That sucks that you had to wait that long to get it fixed. It sounds like there wasn’t really that much atrophy, though from the tendon. Or more than likely would’ve had to do a tendon graph. Sadly, I didn’t tear mine working out, my driver side door was stuck, and I pushed the door open too fast and pop. It tore more. But yes, mines in the same area at the distal insertion. But only the tendon tear no muscle damage. I agree 100% that the peptides do make a difference and well worth the investment. I tore my chest back in 2015 and although my size came back pretty quick, I’ll have to agree with you that the strength did take a lot longer to get back to normal.
Love your story man very encouraging, and I agree I am the type of person that constantly has to be moving, I can’t sit in the house and feel sorry for myself or mope around. Last thing I wanna do is sit around eat a bunch of crap and put unnecessary weight on. Now more than ever is the best reason to eat as healthy as possible, so why not just stay on my program and diet? Only makes sense.
I haven’t had that much pain either the only thing that’s driving me nuts is I still have this ace bandage on and it is itching like crazy. I don’t get my brace put on until next Wednesday.

Yeah, that’s nuts just opening your car door with all we do lifting wise that’s what caused it to happen! I am actually only a couple hours north of you near Toledo & had a pretty cool surgeon by the last name Assenmacher. He came highly regarded by my friends dad who’s been an anesthesiologist for 25 years working hand in hand with these people so I took his recommendation.

I also explained to him what I was doing to further help the healing process. Happy to hear more and more docs are coming around on these alternatives to just throwing us some pain meds and going on to the next patient.

As for the irritation I can agree the ace bandage was annoying as hell I was constantly adjusting mine lol.

Hopefully the healing is going good? Keep them spirits up, you’ll be back at it in no time.

Glad to hear the surgery went ok! How are you feeling today?
Actually the last few days have been very good. The incision and bruising is what hurts the most when it presses up against my cast. Thank god tomorrow I get switched over to the arm brace.
When I take the bandages off I can already fully extend my arm out. I’ve always healed fast from injuries, even when I was a kid. But combine good genetics with good nutrition and of course good gear, I feel like wolverine! 😂
I start therapy Friday, so I will def document how that goes.

The ace bandage is an itch magnet. Especially when it’s up against the scabs. I go in tomorrow to switch to a brace and I’m willing to bet they pull the stitches out already. I Told my doc I’ve been running HGH(Sunrise) since early March and he said to continue it and I’m also adding in Sunrises BPC and TB, which is suppose to be here Thursday. So can’t wait to get those going.
It’s funny man because I can actually still kinda train ok, yet putting on my damn socks and tying my shoes hurts the most.
It’s definitely a good thing more and more docs are coming around to more than just oxys for pain and sending you on your way with a typical protocol that a 80 year old man would get.

Guys, I really appreciate the open conversation. This board is so positive and encouraging. I know I’m not the only member who feels that way.. I don’t know you guys, but I feel like I do. It makes me feel good to know whether there are guys that have gone through or are going through things that I have. Sending love and respect from North Carolina.
Absolutely. I can definitely say I’ve had my fair share of injuries over the course of my career and having people there to chat and talk to about your injury, or whatever it may be, alway has helped me get through life’s BS. Everyone on here is very good energy and always helping one another out. 💪🏻💪🏻

Little bit of an update guys,
So now I’m coming up on 4 weeks post op and I’m starting to think I’m faster healing than Wolverine. Haha
Currently, doing as follows:

@SunrisePharma BPC/TB blend
250mcg of each, 3x daily

Sunrise HGH Suntops, 4iu @bed

NPP, 50mg daily for the next 4 weeks, then cut

Test Cyp, 100mg daily
Anavar, 50mg daily
Primo, 50mg daily
Adex, 1mg EOD (actual script)

-HEALTH SUPPS
Glucosamine, 4g daily
Milk thistle, 2g daily
NAC, 3g daily
Gcode Nutrition, LIFE greens
Vitamin D, 5000iu
Vitamin C, 5g

I am also icing my elbow 4x daily to get all the inflammation out and swelling. So far so good. Elbow still looks fresh but damn, staying on prep and eating super clean was the best decision I could have made as far as healing.

Nice to see your recovery going smooth. I just had a Bicep Tenodesis done on Thursday (08/01). Been using BPC/TB blend since a week before surgery @ 500mcg each daily. I am now thinking I should double that does or at least split it into 2 shots at different locations. What do you think?
They put three holes in me and an incision, just took the dressing off last night to see what was underneath.

Well spoke too soon. Apparently I had an anchor not tightened all the way down and this last Tuesday, it slipped off. Of course, the doctor deny that any of it was his doing. But yet, when the MRI doctor called, he said clearly this was because one of the anchors was not all the way fasten down correctly, thus causing the tendon to pull back off. So of course I had to get brushed back into emergency surgery this past Thursday. To be cut back open and redone. Damn frustrating when it’s not your fault, but the negligence of someone else. Now I have to stat my rehab and healing process all over again.

Talk about a positive attitude killer. But I did notice that in the last 4 weeks, @SunrisePharma BPC/TB was working wonders. So I will be continuing that to help with this bullshit process.
Talk about frustrating

I spoke too soon. Incision looked good and healing appearing well.

Do they are Human Grade Loc-Tite to prevent fastener loosening?? Joke..

I Hope second time around is a 100% success.

Hey brother,

I think you keep up your positive attitude like you seem to always do and this will get sorted out. I hope the set back will be minor considering the big picture, but we are looking to see your rehab and then back onto the stage. Happy that you are running the Sunrise BPC157/TB500 Blend. You should recover well.

Casey.

Shoot, I’ll take actual lock-tite at this point! 😂
This 2nd time already feels like more of a success. Although, I didn’t get the nerve block this time, and oh hell, that was a mistake.

Hopefully 2nd time around is the last time.

That combo brother had me healing rapidly fast. The MRI from last weds showed that the tricep distal portions that were properly aligned and anchored down, were around 30% already! So yeah, I’d say the bpc/tb is damn good stuff.
Still running it as we speak.

speedy recovery bro!
my surgery will be on monday the 19th.
ill probably also log my road to recovery

Well, currently sitting 12 days post op from the 2nd Tricep surgery. Got good news out of the surgery though. Doctor said everything they repaired originally back on July 9, was actually still intact. What happened was one of the tendon anchors that was at the bottom of my elbow, wasn’t properly screwed in, and I guess I had a very small 3 mm tear below that anchor going downward towards my forearm. So that’s good news to know that I didn’t retear everything they already fixed. So what originally thought was going to be rehab and healing for the rest of this year now the doctor saying probably by October I’ll be cleared and ready to go. Which puts me perfectly on the timeframe to hopefully do the Tampa Pro next year. So like I always say with things in life, you gotta look at everything half full rather than half empty. The doctor did say on the MRI and after cutting me back open that after only a month of healing from the first surgery, they were genuinely shocked at how fast I have healed. And I absolutely have to give praise to not only following my nutrition plan, but to @SunrisePharma as well. As many of you know that have been following me through the surgery process I’ve been running their BPC/TB mix since the first surgery back on July 9th. It’s one thing to feel if somethings working it’s another thing to see on an MRI and to have a doctor actually visually see after they cut you back open how fast you’ve healed. I could not be more thankful for sunrise thank you guys so much. I’m so happy that I’m more than likely be able to return the normal by October.
Still have to be careful and can’t be a knucklehead. Still going to play it safe and not do any pressing movements probably damn near till October. I can still work my chest doing fly movements and machines. So I’m grateful for that and not gonna press it. So if anybody else out there’s dealing with injuries, you guys definitely gotta give this shit a try, and if anybody’s want to do I’ve actually upped it a bit.

BPC/TB(sunrise) - 500mcg am
500mcg afternoon
500mcg at bed

Hi@Bbuildersteve...

OK good news on the second surgery and that will keep you on the rehab path for awhile. I also am very happy to see that the Sunrise BPC157/TB500 Blend is helping with your recovery. Having the MRI and the doctor able to show that your healing very quick (due to the Peptides) is super positive and more athletes should be aware of these Peptides that do provide quicker healing timelines for muscle tears and joint damage.

OK keep on your path and lets get set for the IFBB Tampa Pro next year brother. Keep up on your log here, as there are a lot of athletes that experience this type of injury and your log is helping them and the PM members.

Casey.

how did you feel something is wrong?
apparently, when ive wanted to sitdown at my desk this morning my chair slipped away and i fell on my ass. arm hurt a bit more after the impact but i think if anxthing its the wound that might have reopened at one position.

update on rehab?
i can give you an update on mine: Surgery 9 weeks and 3 days ago.
I would say i can train back at 85%, chest push, pushing delt excersises and biceps at 65%, Flys and side laterals 90%.
full extension triceps is still not possible and excersises like butterfly reverse are also still very difficult to perform
I am fighting with the last 10-15% to full extension and its pretty hard :p. No pain, its a functional issue.
but all in all, i am quite happy with how i can train for the time that has passed
