So I think I've got a good training program, and I've been working on getting proper rest. Now I'm focusing on tightening up my nutrition. Ultimately, I think I will be trying one of the beginner cycles that I've seen recommended, but not until everything else is right and I'm closer to my natural potential.
My food intake is pretty good and I'm keeping track of what I eat. My immediate goal is to put on as much muscle as possible over the next year and enter a contest next December. At this point, I know that my bf is much too high, about 20%, but I'm not as concerned with this while I am still adding muscle. I think I'm mostly ectomorphic, tall and lanky, and I know that without a lot of effort, I can get my bodyfat down fairly quickly. I just won't be able to put on much muscle during the process. Macronutrients, calorie-wise, are about 33/33/33, and I'm gradually working my way up in total calories until I start seeing my weight increase. Looks like at this point that will be around 4000.
I'm currently using the following supps: multi-vitamins, fish oil, and protein powder; and I'm interested in introducing some new supplements to the regimen. I would rather do this one at a time because to me buying a whole bunch of new products and taking them makes no sense. I would never know which are working and which aren't. My question is, which supplements do you think are most important? My gut tells me that I should try creatine first, but I'm open to suggestion. The product I'm looking at is CEE by True Protein.
What do you recommend and how do you use it?
