When to start the aromatase inhibitor with long esters?

Just started my cycle of Test Cyp and Deca yesterday. My question is when should I start taking the aromatase inhibitor? I just ordered some research Exemestane but I do have some armidex on hand now. Should I wait till next week and start the Exemestane or should I take the armidex and switch to Exemestane when it comes in?

On a long ester, I can go til week 8 without any AI. Week 6 is a good medium.

me personally i wouldnt take an AI until i need it, weather it be from bloat or gyno symptoms, but if you dont need it dont take it

Agreed. Is this your first cycle? You might not be gyno prone and not need an AI at all. Wait. If the bloat becomes unbearable for you or nipples get itchy then start the adex or aromasin.

I've done quite a few cycles a long time ago and never had a gyno issue. However I would swell up like a blowfish and would raise my blood pressure which is why I'm so concerned.

Well in that case I'd prefer aromasin. As soon as you get it and the bloat becomes unbearable start it at 12.5mg/eod.

bloat / bp

Given your past experiences with bloat and high bp, I would not let the issue fester. Once you start bloating and experiencing bp issues, your training will suffer and you will have to take stronger steps to bring the situation under control.

You should start aromasin 12.5 eod IMHO. You will have more than enough estrogen around (since aromasin at 25mg ed only cuts E2 by 1/3 in normal males).

Bloating sucks ... I bloat a little even on high HRT doses, and my doc has me on AI daily (12.5 aromasin or 0.25 letro) with HRT. I like my E2 in high teens, low 20s tops.
