I have seen many posts concerning personal, family, and mates hardship or loss on this forum.
The replies to the posts are usually encouraging to the person who may have felt pain or anxiety and I notice many of the replies make statements concerning God.
So, a question is...are you in touch with your spirituality?
(this is not a question for you to answer personally here)
We spend so much time on our:
mental: university, reading about biology/physiology etc...
physical: training and exercise
but do you spend time on your spiritual? or is that something you pay atttention AFTER the tragedy or concern? Do you think spirituality complements sport/physical activity?
I notice many top american athletes thank God when they do interviews whereas it is very rare to hear people from other countries doing that.
