Now do you do exactly whats dante says or close to it ? I am reading it and wondering if I need to do exactly his routine or switch it up. Like say I do a M W F and I do warmups and then one work set with the rest pause technique and shoot for 20 reps...

So it would be like this

Warmups 3-4 sets
Work set 10-12 reps
then rest pause
3-4 reps
then rest pause
1-2 reps

The guys put a lot of effort into tweaking the program out and for some one to come along and only use parts of it then say it didnt work really pisses him off. Follow his instructions to the T Its working for me.
 
If possible guys I would like to keep all DC training talk off this board....it tends to piss people off and honestly Ive just grown really really tired of the constant bickering about it.
 
DC.. ALTHOUGH I KNOW WHERe YOU ARE COMING FROM I DISAGREE.. let me explain.. when one comes up with a different idea.. one that goes against the grain, so to speak, there will be debate.. consider it a compliment.. and it is up to you to state your case.. i think that is a big reason to have the debate..when you put forth a idea, then it will always be debated by some who disagree. so the point is if it did not matter, they would not want to debate the issue.. consider it a compliment and explain the reasons why you feel that your program works.. if you have to do it hundreds of times then so be it.. you have passion for your program, so defend it.. the worst case scenario is that it gets people thinking and some of those will come to you to get guidance will want to be trained by you .. DEFEND YOUR IDEA.. AND BE HAPPY THAT YOU HAVE HAD THE IMPACT THAT YOU HAVE HAD...THE WORST CASE IS THAT YOU GET CARPEL TUNNEL BY ALL THE TYPING LOL.. :D ;)

Tend to agree with LATS.

For one, that thread the other day has got me thinking I'll give it a try. Having thought about it some, I'd be a dickhead not to give it a go. I'm sure you - DC - even debated all these principles with yourself and others at one stage in order to come to the knowledge you have now, and will no doubt refine that some more in coming years/decades.

Just no more BS like people saying "I think so and so is arrogant or pigheaded". Training talk is useful, criticism of a person is a waste of everyone's time.

In any case, I'm keen to give it a go in the next week or two so guess I'll have to knuckle down and learn some. IronMike
 
Since April 232 to 245 but I don't follow the diet to a tee and I've been slacking on the creatine, as far as the workouts nothing but awesome.

Been reading up on it thanks to all the posts on this board and am starting the DC training on monday. I've printed out the DC training manual and will stick as closely as possible to it. I'm confident it will work. If there weren't posts out there though I may never have heard of it.

There is tons of info on this. I think he has proved his point and its just a pain the ass to have to be redundant about it all the time. I understand google search will help ya out.
 
It's seems you've become famous Dante. I read a question in MD that Melvin Anthony answered. Wasn't positive, but again, I don't think he knew much about your regime.
