who uses a cpap?

I was wondering if anyone uses one since half the members seen to have sleep apnea.
Does it work?
Is it loud?
Do you scare the dog/kids looking like Darth Vader?
Hard to sleep with one on?

I love my CPAP. If my machine was a woman, I would make sweet sweet jungle love to it every night.

I have a apointment to see my doc on Fri morning. I think this site could have saved my life. I had never heard of sleep anema before comeing here. My G/F always said I stop breathing when I am asleep and snore very loudly but never thought anything about it. I have now done my research and made contact with my Doc to get it checked out.

I have used one for years now. I hated it at first but once I got used to it I wake up after 4-5 hours sleep feeling better than when I was getting 8-10 hours sleep without it. Sometimes I forget to wear it when I fall asleep and the next day I fall asleep at my desk and I get drowsy while driving.

It really makes a difference on your quality of sleep. It helps with training because you are so rested. I didn't qualify for the surgery with my insurance so this is the next best thing.

Sleep with one everynight,thing saved my life,The sleep test I took showed I was waking over 60 times a night,one time I held my breath almost two minutes. Did'nt realize how exhausted I was till I got "PAPPY" Thats what the kids call it Good luck,GF

yeh bro, I wear one also at night. I still throw it off at times and only wear it about 50% of the time, but even that has made a big difference in my energy levels to workout. Also, I don't fall asleep driving any more
