Why you get hand numbness while on gh?

Why do we get side effects like hand numbness while on gh?
Is it because of the impurities that are in gh or is there a different reason?

For example some say that on american made gh there is no side effects, why?

If we get the side effects (generic chinese gh) from impurities in the gh, then how would we know we get real gh and not just powder with the left over impurities to make it seem like the real deal?

Because growth hormone has the ability to increase muscle and tissue mass, it frequently causes compression of the nerves. The most common nerve compression syndrome induced by growth hormone is the carpal tunnel syndrome. The major nerve in the hand (median nerve) which travels down the arm is squeezed between the fibrous bands and the muscles in the hand. This painful condition causes tingling, numbness and weakness of the fingers and the hand.

my buddy got numbness when he was taken too much. He was thinking that 10units was 1 unit on the slin pin. Crazy!!

the worst is when you wake up and your hand is totally numb and you are trying to turn off your alarm clock and everything feels so foreign and weird, its a really odd experience

Ya, tell me about it. My feet were sooo achy....get up in the morning and I'd walk around like a 120yr old geezer...fallin' around, hobbling. Glad that's over with!

You are correct about the compression, however, it is mediated via impact of GH on peripheral fluid retention around the applicable nerves. (GH affects fluid retention via RAAS and ENaC mechanisms).

Even though GH has the "potential" to positively influence Muscle Mass, as you mention, this is not something that synonymous with the mentioned "numbness" side effect, as sides can be observed shortly after beginning GH therapy.

if you already suffer from carpel tunnel gh use will make it much worse,but once you discontinue symptoms will subside.(my experience)

I read somewhere that adding more water to the reconstitution helps but it's BS, the last few nights for me have been miserable I have gone beyond numb to tingling pain that wont let me sleep and that is on a decrease from 6iu to 4iu per day every day. I have about 6 more week's to complete an 8 month run then I'll take a break.
GH is amazing as far as the fat loss, muscle gain and pump goes but the side effects are difficult to deal with at times!
Also I have delt with CT off and on over the years because of what I do for a living but this GH thing is something different a swollen painful feeling in the hands so the fluid retention theory makes sense to me.
And of course the sore joints and excessive urination always at nite.
Oh well if it was discovered drinking used motor oil was the secret to extreme muscular development I would be under my vehicle right now!

I bumped my gh to about 5ius a day for the past 10 days and for fun did 10ius s day for 2 days. Holy shit. I woke up at 2am with the worst hand pain I have ever felt. I wanted to cut my hand off. Needless to say I am back down to 4ius a day and then eventually back 3.3ius a day from then on.

Question:
Why does the pain/numbess hit so hard during sleep? During the day it is not to bad.

Endogenous GH release during sleep + the body is dealing with the exogenous GH. It's a GH inundation.

I have a general and related question on this. I have been taking GH since june of last year....amazing results according to friends and buds in the gym. I want to continue taking it for at least another 8 months. Is there any known problems with taking GH on long term? I have this tingling also and am taking 3.33iu/day before bedtime. Will everything return to normal after say a year and a half on that dosage of GH?

Another thing I noted when taking high dose GH is if I slept with my hands by my side and not crossed on my stomach (yes i sleep like a corpse at times) the pain and numbness was not nearly as bad due to increased blood flow to the hands. I also solved much of the pain by wearing the carpel tunnel gloves. Prior to that I woke up in aching pain all the time and had a very hard time sleeping (did lead me to eating a big meal in the middle of the night then returning to sleep ). It took about 2 months or so for my hands to return to normal after subsiding the GH use.
