R any of you guys WWE wrestlers or on any of the minor league circuits? I'm getting close to being in shape, and when I get there I'd like to get involved and try my luck at pro wrestlin before I get too old. Any advice on how to get started and/or any information you could pass on that would help.

At 34, I feel like I might be too old to go to school. I was hoping to "break" into the business and instantly become a superstar. Maybe I could be written into the plot as Hunter Helmsley's little brother double H.

I've been at it 12 years now, never made it"big", but have been an instructor for 10 years now. Best advis is find a good reputable school, or try out with OVW.

How do ya get a tryout for tuffemuff? I know I'd be able to kick some of the wrestlers asses. Some of the women's asses, that is.

Chances are that just breaking in to the biz in your thirties is an uphill battle. Can it hapeen? sure, but the chances are against you, unless your what there looking for, and are awesome. DDP did it, as well as evin Nash, so yes it can be done. Best of luck.

Well it turns out that someone I know has a relative that owns a small wrestling alliance/school. I talked to the guy and they are interested in me because of my height/size. I've got no real hopes, I just want to have fun with it and see what happens.

have fun bro i did ....enjoyed every min of the training and matches.....and don't worry your skin will get used to the mat couarseness and the burns will eventually stop............lol

Even on the indy shows, the days of $100-$200 payoffs are gone. With all the young kids breaking in, most of the payoffs are around $20-$40...if that much. Thats what its like out here in California. In fact, most of the new kids will work for free to get experience, so the bookers just use them. They'll try to fly in a top name or two to fill the seats, but the houses are still around 2 or 3 hundred. I'm sure you guys like crusher and the others know all about that. Not too glamorous a business on the "B" level! But it is fun sometimes. Good luck to you.

find a good school, like OVW, or killer kowalsky's, or Les Thatcher's school he runs in in Cincy, OH (i forget the name). Those would be my top 3. Oh yeah be prepared for a lot of pain.
