heres one for you....
i did a show where they brought the bushwhackers back. it was a house show. not on tv. so luke and butch are in the locker room moaning and bitching about their knees hurt there ankles hurt, they couldnt hardly walk. so they proceed to cover their bodies almost heat to toe in flexeral. they both put on knee braces on both knees, and then put on the gimik pants....b a white cammo. they barely walk to the ring entrance. their music pops ad these guys look at each other and boom no more pain they marched to the ring, had a great match, played to the crowd and marched back. as soon as they were out of sight from the crowd.....ohhhhh, ahhhhhh, oowwwwww, they had to limp to the locker room. we were like holy shit is that how we are going to be in 10 years? was kind of an eye opener. capt lou albano wa my manager, and he was the same way. he liked to wash his money in the sink over and over cuz he is obsessive compulsive. if you saw money in the sink when you went to piss....well you know its lou's and dont fuck with it cause he will kick your ass and wash it again.lol well theres a few more about tatanka, king kong bundy, scottie to hottie, NEW JACK from ecw ,hmmm lets see, the brittish bulldog davy boy smith, big rick fuller, doink the clown...just a lot of fun times we had. it was a brother hood like no other.

i was in the mall with my brother, the nitro girls were there. one of the stopped me and said i look like buff bagwell. i said ok. she asked if i would want to wrestle i replied hell yeah. so 2 weeks later wcw came to boston, i met here at the hotel and guess who she introduced me to....buff. kinda crazy how much alike we are. so buff introduced me around as his little brother. luger, stiener, jericho, henning all of them were there. right then lucian bagwell was born. the most impressive was kevin nash. he was big, tall, lean and just a mountain of a man. i had dinner with the brittish bulldog davy smith. we shared stories about our bulldogs and we both carried pics in our wallets of them. it was like comparing children.lol from there it was off to wrestling school, in new bedford mass. 6 months later i had my first match againtst my instructor mr brickhouse baker. a tough old school type. before the match he said, hit me man, dont hold back. the people front row will see it if you hold back so dont, cuz i wont. i was like oh shit what am about to get into. but it was a great match. i messed up but he got me through it. he was a ring general and anyone can have a good match with him and look good.
not long afer that i got the call to go on the road......

I had a question though you might be able to answer.
Everytime I go to a WWE event I can never see any wrestlers with stretch marks , is it possible they don't have any or is their makeup crew amazing to be able to hid big stretch marks. I mean a lot of these guys put on 100lbs of muscle /weight quickly it would just seem impossibe for not one single wrestler to have any. I know they all have heavy glitter on their bodies when every I sat front row...maybe it's part of a concealer?

It just seems unfair, I have a ton ...

I remember before Nash wrestled, he was security at The Cheetah III in Atlanta. I'm assuming that is where he was discovered. Still obviously was tall, but not very thick. Still pretty intimidating.

I went by Main Event gym last Friday in Marietta that Sting and Luger were involved in. Used to see quite a few guys including Buff, Steiner, etc working out there when WCW was Atlanta based. Luger actually lived on that same street, but the last word I had was he was living in a room of the pastor of his church. That was about 3 months back. They also did an article on him for the local paper after Benoit's incident, as Benoit was only a few miles south of town.

It was certainly an interesting time when Flair and the others were running around the nightlife scene here in days gone by.

Luger now works out at Golds up in Kennesaw. You can tell the lifestyle and road have taken its toll on him.... he limps all the time now. I thought maybe he phucked up his knee, but he said it is his lower back. I met him a couple of times back in his prime...total asshole. Now, he is very humbled, super nice and talks to everybody. He has lost everything....porshce, hummer and a shitload of money to the ex wife. He apparently has found God and is trying to find a new way to go in life. He is living in his preacher's spare bedroom. He still looks huge but you can tell the wear and tear is taking its toll. Kinda sad to see someone who was your idol in that kind of condition.

Dang Luian...You got stories to tell brother. Thanks for taking the time to do so. I have been a wrestling fan forever. Being from Chicago I grew up on the AWA...When Flair first started there, Bockwinkle, Ventura, The greatest wrestler of all SUPERSTAR BILLY GRAHAM!! Road Warriors. Hogan, Ventura, Saito, Patera, The Gagnes, Scott Hall So many more started there or passed thru

Now the Bushwackers..I first saw them when they were in SOUTHWEST Wrestling..my GOD they were promo kings;;Kind of violent if you ask me. I remember when they were cutting a promo and the Owner ( can't think of his name, was talking crazy to their manager) Out they came and bam..the beatings commenced..Podium smashed over his head, glasses destroyed..Hell I was confused..Was this a shoot promo or BS... Whatever it was The Sheepherders were a little scary. They would not really job or push anyone over..they lived for blood too. Then the Legend Bruiser Brody came thru..talking about busting heads up and taking no names..


Lets not forget about World Class Wrestling..The Von Erichs and Freebirds..talking about hate..real pure hate!! Michael Haynes was a little to happy to bust Kerry and Kevin's head wide open with the heel of his boots...

Then you had Sting and Crew before WCW started up wrestling in I think it was called UPW...

But then by that time the territories were being bought out by Vince Senior.

I got into bodybuilding because wanted to be a wrestler when grew up. I was blown away by the bodies of The Superstar Billy Graham, Tony Atlas, Hacksaw Butch Reed, Rocky Johnson, Hell Even Dick the Bruiser was pretty buff for a ole man....Then came Lugar, Putski Kerry Von Erich etc...Lex Was the epitome of ripped and mass in his later years.

new jack..... i did one ecw show and it was enough, im not hardcore as my gimmik was always over with th fans. i never had to go the hardcore route but..... one time my boy jose perez was working new jack. hardcore no rules match. now i knew jose well. we worked many nights in a row for a while and i know he was tough but....not new jack tough.
so the ring has barbedwire around the ropes. jose says to new jack backsatge, anything you want to do lets go for it. im down for anything. no problem lets give em a show. now i didnt know shit about new jack so i watched from the back. the match starts. they are going back and forth, trash cans,chairs, then new jack pulls a butcher knife...all the boys in the back freak stevie richards says here we go again, he slices jose in the head once and drops it. they go at it again, throws hose into the ropes and he gets stuck in the wire!!! i see hose freakin out cause the arbwire is right through his arm, new jack just puls him away tearing a big chink of skin away. holy shiiiiit!!!!! now the big finnish....new jack takes out a staple gun....2 staples to the head, rel friggin staples in his skull. slams him and jumps off the 2nd rope with a chair under his ass and lands on joses' head...1...2...3...match over. i couldnt believe my eyes when jose got in the back. we were all freaked out. later at the bar new jack put in a video. a whils back he almost kiled a 17 year old kid in the ring. aparently jack had been drinking heavily before the match. the kid was green and he agreed to let jack run the match. well when the butcher knife came out new jack sliced him deep about 6 times hitting major arteries in his head. then did the chair drop to his head and the kid almost died. we watched in horror on the badr tv. jck was arested for it and his tag line for a while was not guilty. because the kids dad had signed a waiver so it wasnt his fault. from that time....ecw was less appealing to some of us.

my first time talking to luger i was inimidated. i was0 lb of him sitting with kimberly page. ddp's wife. i got up walked over to lex. i said, lex can i ask you somethin, he said sure i said do you use any supplements? he looked at me and said. no we get tested all the time.
i though tested? wtf? im gonna get kicked out after my first week? oh shit!! then he said only designer whey. 1 can a week. and smiled!!! i aid well i was talkin legal stuff. he said well thats how you answer all those type of questions...winked at me and walked away. i sat back with kim and mallisa(spice) form te nitro girls and pondered. then realized he was so shit faced he didnt know what i was asking.lol then ddp came up and looked at me. ll 6 foot 6 270lb of him. i said sorry this must be your seat huh? he smiled and said you learn fast little guy,(shit i was 5 foot 10 and 270 lb. but was like a foot smaller than him.)lol

Hiram, Triple H is a good dude. I have had the chance to meet him and actually been at the gym while he was training several times. I worked security at our arena for 10 years so had a chance to meet most of the big names and had my 10 minutes of fame on a televised WCW Nitro trying to hold back the monster Sid Viscous as he was fighting Benoit. Anyhow Triple H won an NPC shows years ago and beat some guy named Mike Matarazzo in the process.

ok hhh is from new hmpshire. he ran the indies up there for bit but i never knew him. the rock, met him one time and he was a good guy. tall, big and his wife danny was so sweet.
marcus never had a problem doing a job, but if it didnt make sense he voiced his opinion. i mean he was a face with a growing fan base...why job him out? i was never used for a job. i did get some...initiation of getting smashed around the first few matches till fans caught on and then it was straight face matches from there. once they tried to turn me heel...the fans wouldnt hear it. emails , letters, it was funny. next wek back to a face.
top 5 boddies...hmmm scottie stiener, davy boy smith, hercules hernandez, lex, buff. there are others but those are the ones i remember standing out.
mic work....austin!!!!! that guy was great on the mike, never planned anything, straight shoot all the time. technical wrestler, dean malenko, or kurt angle of course.

there was a first time show at Marthas Vinyard in mass. the only way there is a ferry. so all of us are on the ferry. just the wrestlers. funny seein all of us wearing hip sacks and pulling roller suitcases together.lol so we get there its a small venue like an amputhearter. me and mark wrestled the power company dave and dean powers for the wcw tag titles(we won). so the show is over and we are told you have 6 min to catch the last ferry back. or you are stuck here. WHAT??? 15 of us squash in a van. tatanka (chris) is pretty much sitting in my lap. we speed off at 25mph cuz the wt in the van wouldnt allow it to go anyfaster. so we barely make it, run pulling our suitcases, and get on the ferry. well we relaxed and told stories, had a few beers(few to many i mean) and then got off in new bedford mass and hit the local bars.
it was a hot summer night....man i remember it like it was last night. it was a time in my life i ish i could revisit all the time. tatanka was a hero of mine when i was a kid. now im at a bar with him making plans to go to peru to do some shows there. like a dream come true for me...........

Always heard Ahmed was a sloppy wrestler; but after hearing how his dead abused him and his siblings..I think he still accomplished a lot.

Stone Cold stole some of Billy Grahams style too. HE was intense.

new indy leauge contacted a bunch of us and got us to do a show we all thought it was part of the new growing wcw indy.so many of us were contcted we figured it was wcw run. no wwe guys just us. so we went .i was to win a battle royal. so i did the match and after saw the BIG promoter front row, he looked pissed!!!! he said hi and walked away. aparently it was a new fed which somehow got most of our cell numbers. so all of us were in breach of contract who showed up that nite. the very next match we were told it was a 15 min match....which is long, and we would put over this new unheard of team. we did. they split me and mark up, then began to push other guys at our expense. it took a long time before i would get a chance to shine again, i just ate shit for 6 months. then got a chance for the tv title and went over. the buissness can be rough but if you love it.......you just do it for the greater good of the industry.
