i dont like the idea of straps while squatting. what happens if you need to dump the weight?Looks like if the weight is too much you'd automatically bend and your back would enter the equation. Not interested in that mess. I do front squats across my front delts with wrist straps wrapped on the bar and wrapped around my hands holding the weight up. Makes it much easier to balance heavier weight.

when you said straps i was picturing the straps wrapped around your wrist and the bar like you would with a dead lift.
