The Witch

Anyone watch this yet on Netflix? Im going to watch it real soon. I found it because I was trying to find the new movie "The Lighthouse" online for pay for view but it isn't available now. I read it might only be released on HBO. It has great reviews, and The Witch got decent reviews as well. Both horror type movies by the same director. The Lighthouse is in select theaters now, and none near me.

The Witch is supposed to be very "trippy" as well as The Lighthouse.

The Witch is very memorable and creepy. I would recommend watching it if you enjoy the horror genre.

It is a period piece, where a Puritan Christian family is building their home in the wilderness (probably 1700s?). The family begins seeing strange supernatural occurrences near the property and in the woods, but cannot determkne who/what it is, or if it is simply a prankster or their eyes playing tricks on them.

Eventually an evil presence attacks the family, and the atmosphere becomes much darker and creepier.

I am watching old episodes of the Twilight Zone. I used to watch as a kid. I forgot how good some of them were.

Yeah. They’re making 100 total episodes so Season 7 is the final season.

They really stand the test of time. Another old favorite on Netflix I will put on every now and then is The Andy Griffith Show.

Man, I was hooked on The Twilight Zone as a kid. It is fun to watch it on Netflix.
They should have a new version with weekly episodes. Imagine what they could do with the current technology to scare the piss out of ya.

Yeah, I had a 7.1 system before and now it is 7.1.4. So 4 atmos speakers in the ceiling. It really does add a "3rd dimension" to the sound. So you have width and length then you have depth up and down with the atmos. Got some nice Martin Logan speakers for the ceiling, they have tweeters that you can angle toward the seating position as they rotate around.

Only thing that sucks is that atmos is still hard to come by. All of the new 4k blurays I buy have it but the Amazon Firestick can't stream it on anything but a few select movies on Amazon Prime and I don't subscribe to that. I hear that they are going to add support for Netflix sometime before the end of the year. That will be big! Able to get Dolby Vision though for video on a lot of shows, and the stick converts every show to Dolby Vision even if it isn't recorded in it. The video is great if you don't already have a stick I recommend you pick one up. It is nice, and the 4k version is cheap too.

My main problem with them is how they have become so political. SJW in so many of their movies and I don't see that changing, only getting worse really.

While we all know of the potential health benefits associated with a vegan diet, the movie clip above has a MASSIVE political agenda behind it, which the general public is largely unaware of.

You see, the United Nations (globalists; promoters and harbingers of the New World Order) are covertly attempting, primarily through the deep state (which are one and the same), to subconsciously re-program Americans into accepting a lower quality of life (in this instance from a dietary standpoint) because in their new world, there is no longer a sovereign United States, but rather, a one-world, socialist, communist dictatorship.

They are attempting to program the people into accepting a future plant-bug-based diet, along with a GREATLY reduced caloric intake (because it costs WAY less money than our current diet).

Unless one understands what is really going on in the world today it is difficult, if not impossible, to see the agenda strewn throughout this movie clip, but attempting to offer an adequate explanation is WAY beyond the simple scope of this thread.

In short, this movie is a propaganda piece designed to re-program the way American's think regarding the food they eat, so that they are more willing accept the massive reduction in food quality, quanity and diversity that they have planed for us.

You see, the U.S. is the last standing bastion of freedom in the world that has the power to hold back the globalists from achieving their one world government. Therefore, removing power and sovereignty from the U.S. is their #1 goal. The U.S must first be taken down--from within--before they are able to implement their plan. They have made rapid and stellar progress over the last 20 years. This administration understands this and is attempting to stop this from happening, which is why the deep state globalists are pulling out all the stops in an effort to remove it from power.

This subject is unbelievably massive in scale, so I will just stop here, as my primary point was to point out the insidious political agenda behind the film.

I watch very little television, but I really enjoyed the Peaky Blinders series.
