I had to cancel a doc appt before right before all this really ramped up. It was at a hospital in a Chicago suburb. I didn't try to reschedule figuring they would be busy. Last week THEY called me to make an appt. I told them I thought they'd be too busy since my appt was in the Coronary/Pulmonary unit. They said not at all. I went to my appt Tuesday, they have all their safeguards in place, I got asked the current health questions in the lobby, then when I got off the elevator, and again at the suite my appt was in. The doc told me that 90% of the appts were cancelled by the patients as they were too worried to come into the hospital. While I was there I saw ONE person that wasn't a hospital employee. I was the only patient in the Coronary/Pulmonary unit.
