What are you watching on Netflix?

I watched the first episode of that and thought it was good. I need to get back to it.

If you haven't, watch this series! It is addictive and its one of those that you cant stop watching. There is a drag race between 1 supercars and then 3 other junky cars that guys put together on their own. Its basically the rich guy goes out and buys a Ferrari and then races it against a good ole boy with a 85 mustang 5.0. Lots of really cool cars in here. 2 seasons now too. One of the best qualities of the show is that you really get to know the drivers and their stories. Some of their personal stories are heart breaking. Im always rooting for the super car to lose.

I enjoyed that too. Even my wife liked it.
TBH though many times I rooted for the Supercars - depending on the demeanor of the owner ;)

I just watched Kilo Two Bravo. It was INTENSE! I didn't realize it was based on a true story until it was over. I was worn out after watching it!!

Yeah, I liked a few of the super car owners. The lady that did all of the charity stuff, drove a Lamborghini Aventador and dressed like a super hero for kids. I can't remember if she won or lost.

The Eddy, new series on Netflix, is pretty good.
Written and Directed by Damien Chazelle — writer and director of Whiplash and La La Land.
Huge fan of him and i dig the show.

I liked his other two movies very much. News to me on The Eddy. Thank you.
Just watched the trailer. Seems a bit too much hand held for my taste but
will check it out. Could be interesting.

Give it a watch dude. Because that was my first take while watching the trailer too.
"Why are they not using a gimbal?? smooth this shit outtt" haha

But it works better than i anticipated. I notice weird camera movement all the time. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I noticed that at first when watching Succession on HBO. After the first 2 episodes I almost stopped watching it because of that, but after awhile I got used to it and actually liked it. It felt normal. At first it was very jarring though. Did anyone else notice the weird camera movements in that series?

Well . . . I do think it was hand held but a good hand held. When done poorly,
too quick or jittery, it is distracting to me, gives me a head ache.

But I didn't notice it on Succession (which I loved) or it did not bother me but
again, now that I think it, it was hand held. Whatever the DP did it worked
for me.

ok hand held makes sense. I only noticed it the very first episode. Its almost as if they got better at filming, or I just got used to it. It was a fantastic 2 seasons. I cant wait for number 3.

Not on netflix but I'm picking back up with season 3 of Billions after I stpped watching it 2 years ago. It's really fucking good!

The latest season is good so far. Can't remember if its 3 or 4? You have Showtime? I like how Netflix releases everything all at once. I'm stuck waiting a week now.

Just finished Bodyguard. British thriller series. Highly recommended. Superb acting and fast paced action from the first 5 minutes of the first show.

I enjoyed Fastest Car. Also Formula 1 Drive to survive was amazing. I'm not a Formula 1 fan (maybe now I will be) but I really enjoyed it from the "insders" point of view. Especially get a POV during the races. Loved it.

Another car show that I binged watched was Hyperdrive. As they claim, it is like Fast & Furious meets American Ninja. Was pretty cool and exciting. Hopefully they will shoot more seasons.

The 4k video camera they use is superb too.

ROCCO is not bad. Gave me an insight of the tough life as a porn actor :D

How To Fix A Drug Scandal and Cracked Up: The Darrell Hammond Story...enjoyed both

The Darrell Hammond Story was very moving. His mother was a real piece of work. I had no idea his life had been filled with so much trauma.
