hmmm tell something you dont know....well last week i got hit in the head with a bag of tacobell. that made me double pissed. first i was wearing chalupa sauce and second that was my goddamn cheat meal for the week. but other than that im generally happy.
Ah, the dreaded and all-too-common "tacobell-to-the-head" mishap.

Buddy of mine took a bag of tacobell to the head once. They sent him home in ziploc bags.

Man, that's rough. I love those chalupas though... Haven't had one in years. Now I'll probably go eat a sixer of them.

Awesome thread....Myself and country chic were setting up to do our first show....Together as well...Unfortunately, or in this case fortunately we have to hold off until Spring to compete as CC has just accepted a new position with a great company in Upper Management role, I also am in mgmnt and will be joining her in the same company as we get to go as a team in our careers...They tie in together , yet we dont actually work together very often...She will be travelling a lot and i will be a little bit, not nearly as much...

In the past couple of months we have been making good progress and although we have given everything we can, we have been barraged with interviews, travelling all over gods creation, flying and 6-9 hour drives 1 or 2 times per week interviewing and touring industrial plants etc. It has been very busy along with contest dieting, trying to find new gyms where we are at that time etc...
We have made a decision to wait until June to compete as we are moving to a new province and will compete in our new province as we would gain nothing in our old province and would only have to re-qualify in June in our new location...I have asked the advice of my coach Phil Hernon and we decided to go big in June contest and hit it hard , with no distractions...Our moving will be over in a few weeks and all will be back to normal and with the extra time we have, i can only think i will improve my weak spots even more...
I think CC will also be competing in JUNe with me and we are looking forward to it...
We have switched up my diet and look forward to more progression...I am not sure of CCs plans as her coach has yet to get back to her...
Thanks for this thread, it is filled with some good advice, we can all use some from time to time...

What defines a bodybuilder? I mean I'm not on stage in a banana hammock. That's true. But I do train and eat and sleep to build as much strength and muscle as I can. I'm certainly bigger and more muscular than your other friend -OC-. Do you tell him he's not a bodybuilder? He seems to think he so it might be a good idea to let him know. Break it to him gently.

In my foolishness, I always considered that I was a bodybuilder/strength trainee. I eat a diet of high protein, high fat, moderate-low carbs. I train progressively with weights multiple times per week. So when you say I'm not a bodybuilder, I find it confusing. I don't pose in front of a full-length mirror very often. I don't compete against anyone except myself. I can judge my size and fat levels simply by point my chin towards my chest which allows my eyes to view my physique from a top-down angle.

I'm not sure what your definition of a bodybuilder is but I'm not then you better also break it to about 20,000 other members as well because they probably think they are. I don't have many pics posted but some are there. Would you say that the below is more a bodybuilder physique or more typical of the body type found on, I don't know, say, a psychologist?

Either way, I think I'm going to continue playing around at the gym and see what happens.

ouch bber or not... i enjoy your contributions to the board , this board allows so many of us to have a voice on several different topics as well as bodybuidling. contrary to other members opinions on this board , i like it that its not just everything BBing related and dont think others should be chastized for sharing other topics , feelings , pics , etc

Ive never called myself a "bodybuilder" now that I think about it.
Im Just a guy that likes to lift. Ive seen the argument 100x before on here.
Some guys here have said why would you ever take steroids If you dont plan to compete.
I say If your only reason for using is to compete against a bunch of other men
for One day a year then thats a bit silly to me. Everyone has there goals and reasons. For me its not to win a show, Its Just a way of life and something I enjoy.

Interesting. You know, Phil, I've given you the benefit of a doubt for a long time on this board - probably too many occasions. But this is my thread, in my forum so I'm going to tell you what I think off the main board. Yeah, I'm a bit of a joker, but laughter is good medicine. Being a bodybuilder (or whatever) myself, I know how serious a person can get. I know how much dedication it can take. I like that I give people a laugh now and then. I care about it. Sometimes I even do it at someone's expense and even my own. The lesson is, you have to laugh sometimes. Even if it's at yourself. We got a lot of big muscle on this board but we also got a lot of big egos. As you yourself has preached on more than one occasion, the necessity of living a balanced life - a life that contains more than just bodybuilding. I think that's a very important ethic and I'm so glad that someone such as yourself encourages it because you do have influence. I've started and contributed to so many threads in the main forum that every time I post, I face a dilemma. I worry that maybe I'm going too far and should perhaps, just stay here in my little counseling forum and not venture out as much. As far as training threads, not only do I contribute but I even start threads. Here's a thread I started on partials on July:

Obviously, yours got more attention because you're an IFBB pro and I'm just a... well, whatever the hell I am (joker, professor, whatever).

Hell, you even agreed with me in my thread as I did with you in your thread. Not everyone agrees with you and me. But partials do work, plain and simple, and I think we both want the people of the board to hear that. Phil you have 6000 posts and you're an IFBB pro. Have you written an article on training or supplements for professionalmuscle? Hell, I'm the lowly board shrink and I have!

But that's enough of that. My intention here is not to sell myself to anyone in my own forum. I have no products to sell and you are welcome to take anything I say or leave it or even tell me to go **** myself if you like. And if you want to bring LBA's to my forum, okay fine. Let's do that. Let's talk about LBA's. You shouldn't mind since it's a rare thing to find a thread of yours that doesn't come back to LBA's, SUS500, Pheramass, Cherrypharm, Tren250, your personal training services... did I leave anything out? Alrighty then.

I have tried LBA's. I ordered enough LBA's from an online distributor in strawberry. I threw the last three bottles in the trash. Even with drinking 1/2 a bottle a day, I'm sorry, I just didn't get anything from them. Yeah, I know, I used them wrong, or didn't buy them from you, or something. But other people have offered to GIVE theirs away (and I'm not going to say who) to anyone who might want them, just as long as they paid for the shipping so it's not just me.

But let's get back to the beginning. First it was a secret ingredient, cow's blood, fetuses, IGF, GH, fractions, and AAEFX was the goods and that was that. Everything else, worthless. Anyone disputing, crushed. Now, AAEFX doesn't have enough flavors and another brand is the real goods. That's where it's at now. And every single member that has come forward saying LBA's just didn't do much for them, or even questioned what made them so special has been met with scorn, ridicule, and just outright personal attacks. What are you going to tell the soon-to-be-former member "Jon"? You remember, that guy that works for AAEFX? He was here pretending to be a member asking questions about the product while he worked for the company. I never refuted LBA's but I sure as hell refuted that guy. You do realize that once rAJ exposed that guy for a shill that the blame was headed straight at you right? I stuck my neck out and saw to it that "Jon" took the heat and not you.

I realize that what greases the gears of this board is money. I know you're marketing your products. Truthfully, I hope you do well. I'm not here to make money though. I'm here because this is leisure. Yeah, I suppose I could join an academic board and yak all day about the things I deal with every day of my life. No thanks. Health and fitness is my passion. My opinion on LBA's is what it is. I'm not alone and I'm not going to bullshit anyone about it. I've never refuted a single thing about a member's positive experience with the product. But if I want to express my own experience, than that's my right and I retain it.

You once gave an open board thread of appreciation to me and I want to return that to you right now by saying I think you're a hell of a guy Phil. I appreciate the advice you've given me over the years and I have nothing but respect for your accomplishments not just in the sport but in overcoming the difficulties of a former life that is now just a memory. I've had your back every step of the way in public and private and I'm always pulling for you and your loved ones but at this point in time, I don't really want to be associated with you. Not in any way whatsoever.

Take care of yourself and that little girl of yours.
