21 years old dwarfs Sam Sulek

No he's not everyone else is. Age has been the main argument in all the discussions about Sam. There are hundreds of young meatheads like this that are very very large and jacked.

Unless I’m missing something I have yet to meet someone arguing about Sams age. If by age you mean people saying “oh he’s gonna die young, he’s blasting too much” then yes. I’ve been following Sam since he was just on tiktok with less then 10k followers and personally I’ve been impressed with how his shape has progressed without deteriorating as size has been added. Doesn’t seem like his mental state has deteriorated either. This kid just looks like a hormonal mess. Yes size can be impressive, but at some point you have to ask “am I sacrificing proportions, symmetry, flow, etc.” just for the sake of being big

I think this goes to show why Sam’s so popular. He’s just down to early going about his thing and sharing it. This guys videos are high cringe and like pretty hard to watch.

This guy has a great physique and is built really well. But most people aren't even aware of the kind of genetic freaks that have existed in this sport.

His main draw is his age and his simplistic style of filming. I would bet if he were 31 he wouldn't get half the attention. People are obsessed with others that achieve things at a younger age. Also at 22 years old he is not a kid and Sam has had his own hormonal mess not too long ago.

For sure, extremely simplistic but even though he’s 22 like you said, theres tons of people his age who’s are very jacked even more then him and not even close to his popularity. IMO his popularity is more about his personality and training than his age. His first cut yes his acne was atrocious and his skin looked terrible but it also looked like that prior to him posting, look at his younger pics. Once he started accutane it completely changed so idk if that is entirely AAS to blame

I agree wholeheartedly. He's smart and simplistic. The dude I posted about is a fucking meathead like the tren midgets his videos are atrocious. Sam I think copied Pianas style of cutting the bullshit and just speaking out frankly. Thankfully Sam actually trains hard unlike Piana who trained like a figure girl pumping up his PMA filled "muscles."

I guess that was the point of this thread a lot of massive young guys out there just have no sense on how to make a video that catches on.

I watched a documentary where Ronnie Coleman said he almost quit bodybuilding early in his career because he placed lower then Lee 6 times in one year, I can only imagine seeing him in person

The most genetically gifted bodybuilders were seen in the 90s to early 2000s time period. We haven't seen that kind of talent, and while freaks will always exist, it's very unlikely we will see the likes of Ronnie, Flex, Jay, Dorian, Lee, Kevin, Dillet, Mike Francois, Paul Demayo...etc in a single time period

I honestly think this illustrates why people love Sam. Dude is making at least $150K/month...likely closer to $250K and is driving around his old car going to school like nothing happened. This dude is about as cringey and weird as it gets (I get that wasn't the point of your thread )

I also think there is something appealing that Sam's physique is freaky but it really doesn't have that "chemical freak" look to it. It's hard for me to articulate what I mean. I've seen Sam many times (he's local to me) and you see him and he stands out and looks huge but it does have a weirdly "freaky but kind normal and maybe doable without killing myself" look.

I'm just rambling. I don't really watch Sam as I'm literally 18 years older than the dude so it's not super appealing other than he is local and seeing him workout on the same equipment I used to 20-25 years ago is wild.
