I've been on a 4 day split for about 3 months now, prior to that light lifting with some cardio for about 2 months just to try and get into shape again... Everything is ok except that I'm completing the 4 day routine in 5... I think I'm shorting myself some recovery time now that I'm pushing alot more weight and failing on every workset as best I can tell. I'm going to go to the 3-day split suggested by BigA just as he prescribes. What do I do on the off days? cardio? abs? nothing? I need to get some fat off for sure, that's why I'm asking about the cardio...
