Those are really good numbers to be moving at your weight, but I cringed the whole time I watched. That grip, along with the way you explode into the pull, is a bicep tear or other serious injury waiting to happen. Not talking shit, just concerned for your health. Despite that, nice vid, minus that ridiculous music:)
 
Holy shit that really is some horrible music, and it seems like it's blaring loud, wtf? There's something just so wrong about that, lol.. Nice strength tho.

nearly 3 times your body weight for reps is awesome. However I think you might want to work on technique more. Just concerned you could get hurt using that explosive style.

STRONG LIFTS. Like the other fella said, I'd really like to see you work on your form. Not only is it dangerous, but you really could be lifting more weight. Great job regardless
 
strong lifts man. looks like from the vid that your knees are pointing inward. are you slighty pointing outward? if not, i would suggesty trying that, and try not to jerk the weight like that.
 
wow I turn the sound off lol.. good weight to be moving bro, work on your form some like the others said and you'll be pulling heavier weight. keep at it brother

you certainly have the strength to handle the weight and i am sorry if i'm overly critical but you don't appear to be standing totally erect with your knees locked. maybe this is not required in your competitions as it is in the deadlift for powerlifting. but anyway, just don't want you to lose reps due to an easily correctable technicallity.
 
Your knees are bowing in because your glutes are weak and not firing during your pulls. To me from the camera view you are rounding your back each time. Being strong is great but being injured is not.

You know, I'm glad you brought that up. I always deadlift that way, but this is the first time I've taken a video. I noticed myself, but thought nothing of it. It's good to hear it from someone else. I'll definately try to pull smoothly next time.

Tom- thanks for the concern about locking out. The calls are pretty quick in competition, so either it was an off night, or the judges are never that picky. Thanks though.

Pericles- My glutes are weak compared to everything else. I need to bring them up for sure. Although I'm absolutely postive that I wasn't rounding my back. I usually have someone watch my form from the side every time I pull. And they always tell me that the arch never suffers. I have a case of lower cross syndrome and need to stregthen my abs and butt. I'm doing great at working on abs more, but does anyone have good suggestions on exercises for glutes?
 
Your lockout looks fine for Strongman since most of the time they're pretty lax on rep stuff. You're going to year a bi if you keep pulling with bent arms at the start of the lift though! Nice pull for your BW.

glutes/lower back:

poor mobility from tight back or ham will cause less glutes activation (my case as well)

static and dynamic mobility work will help but it will take lots of time and everyday work,,,,olympic lifters routine and runners stretchin routine are the best.

in fact every city has a local O. lifting club that you can pop in for help and they usually have a national level lifters who will coach and help you (most of them free of charge or some donation here and there),,,,BEST way to learn proper form and power. go watch some youtube videos of O lifters at your weight clean/jerk....

as for a glute targeting exercise if your gym has reverse hyper thats good too, but seriously mobility mobility..i know cuz i suffer the same problem with weak glutes lol

I too winced at the jerkiness of the early part of lift. The abruptness of motion can't be good for the tendons and joints.

That music is awful. What is it? "Easy listening"? It's totally inappropriate for a gym.

Also, don't be afraid to up your dosage of Exemestane to 25mg/day for these last few weeks leading in to the comp. If it kills your libido (and if that is an issue) or it makes you feel flat then revert back to your 12.5mg/day.

I'm not implying anything and neither should you. You can read my conversations with B~RAD on this forum. Also, I have corresponded with B~RAD in private many times so perhaps you lack the context of my post. All of your questions can be answered if you use your search function. Perhaps you should have done that before posting.

you don't have to be on shit to benefit from an ai. aromasin by itself will significantly increase your testosterone level.
