Thanks FUBball! I just started doing farmers walk tonight as a way to end the DL workout . . . will find a way to include some tire flipping. Do you ever do tire flipping slowly i.e. long rests between each flip, or is it always done fast in a cardiovascularly taxing sort of way?
Howd the farmers feel? What weight were you able to go up to?
The tire I try to always do fast and explosive! Unless it's a big ass tire that I just want to see if I can do! Haha but the tire is a very good conditioning tool

Usually once a week and on deadlift days... I did the tire before deads lately just because of daylight. But either is good. Where do u train? I might know some guys in your area that could be helpful

I'm in Columbia, South Carolina. Marc Bartley has South Carolina Barbell, and that'd definitely be the place to go, but for now I'm just "dabbling" with a little bit of farmer's walk or tire flipping whilst doing 5/3/1. Thanks for the support!
That would be a awesome job to train at. ASC Pro Lightweight Tom Mutaffis use to train there. Also Mike Hemlepp who use to hold the LW record for Log Press I believe.
