AAS effects on blood pressure, Too high?

I have been taking my blood pressure and have seen it creep up slowly. I'm thinking this is the reason for slight pressure in what seems like my facial sinus area. It's currently at 142/73 when 3 months ago it was 130/85. I'm on Arimidex, Nolvadex, and Test Cyp.

With others' experience is this a normal elevation in BP for what I'm taking, and how high until I should be worried? My Arimidex is at .5g ED. Thoughts?

I've never had to worry about BP so I'm new to learning what keeps it low.

Yes steroids will increase BP.

You should always try to control it even when on. 6-8 months of elevated BP during the year when on is still not being friendly to your body's vascular system.

Is your potassium and magnesium intake adequate? Do you do any form of cardio? Has the bodyweight gone up?

Its not super high yet...but it needs addressed. Maybe start with some carditione and see if that controls it...if not you might want to look into some lisinopril or telmisartan

142-73 isn't high - I'm usually 140-90 on meds
The 142 is a slight elevation - but nothing to worry about
With that said I'd still take meds. Lisinpril will take it down along with cardio.

Studies show anything over 120/80 will lead to dowsides depending on how long you let it go and how hihg it is.

Does anybody try doing some cardio or changing diet before going straight to the BP meds to mask things? .....Presumably for ever!

BP meds do not 'mask' the high BP, they fix it :banghead:

Obviously an obese sedentary smoker with high BP should also change their lifestyle. But that doesn't mean that in the meantime their high blood pressure should go untreated.

In addition, high blood pressure due to PED abuse often cannot be fixed just with cardio and a healthy diet. Not to mention that BP meds have other health benefits during AAS use independent of their BP lowering effect.

Something like water pills, salt intake etc.. can help.
When on TRT, I'm 110 or below. With primo stack im below 130. Harsher compounds can push me to 148 easy. So trying different gear may help.

These bp meds, they screw with gains no?

Took a beta blocker, was gassed very quickly, heartrate couldn't go above 130.

Dont know if ace-inhibitors will do the Same but iirc they mess with Some pathways too
