Accidently injected rubber from my stopper

So I was pinning some gear last night and I didn't notice until it was too late that there was two small pieces of rubber floating in it. I was already pushing too steady and it was too close the going thru the pin to stop it. Is this going to cause an infection.? Has anyone else ever ran into this problem.

It would have to be such small of a piece to actually go thru the needle that I don't think it would affect you

infection? if u haven't noticed any redness or swelling in the past 24-36hrs, i'm guessing you'll be ok..
hey, it sounds like your using a lower gauge pin to draw your gear? try drawing with a 20g..
