Accutane with oral AAS

My cystic acne is barely in control, if i start another cycle, I know it's gonna be crazy. Thinking of a 4 month regime of accutane, but that last 2 months would run into my next planned cycle which includes oral winny. Think it's too much on my liver?

Too many variables to say yes or no. It's all very individual and dose dependent. If your concerned and won't have regular bloodwork done for liver values then drop the orals.

I know two people with major acne scars due to accutane.I think the breakout it induces up front and your skin becomes very sensitive is what does it.Do try everything before accutane,it is a serious drug.I see people recommending it on here like it is candy.just wanted to throw it out there bro.

Thanks guys, i know it's a bad drug. My wife comes from an Asian country I won't name. Last time she returned with an astringent containing accutane. Even that stuff topically is a danger. Interesting though, you can buy it over the counter there for just a couple dollars.

I took accutane the generic from, it's very hard on your liver. Be disciplined if you are on a high dose do not use 17aa! Done deal

Personally I would run the accutane, for however long it takes for your acne to disappear, then 2 to 3 months longer...its standard protocol the doctors use...

However if your on a low dose use LIV 52 while on the 17aa

I personally would recommend you use a lower dose of accutane and not cycle 17aa you will be better in the long run

30mg every other day would be how I would run it now, however check me on this one i've seen so many doses on other things its hard to keep it strait
(with a higher dose rosacea was induced and I flush horribly now)

If you run both or just one, a monthly blood test would be advisable

Liver disease is not something you want to have to deal with

most who post about liver dangers have never had blood work done with orals, a lot of parroting, which is common with the online community.

give some specifics, dosing of aas and accutane

i'll tell you if it would be a problem for me, not you

take that as you will, but remmeber that the only way to be sure of safey will be actual bloodwork.

Thanks for all the input. Bloodwork isn't a problem. I can stick myself and ask the tech to run it. The diagnosis isn't what saves the liver, prevention is the key. I figure I'll dump the AAS, just to be safe. Thanks again guys

I want to run 50 of oral winstrol QD. I have some paper that i was told was good and want to use it up, is all. I figured it probably wasn't good to run the both together. Gues I'm gonna go with Zambon...ouch!

Agreed. Especially since you're gonna be taking orals too.. Do a search on ebay for liv-52 ds.. There's places in India that sell it real cheap.. I ordered 6 bottles for $20 with shipping included, and some people on here were saying that was too good to be true.. But sure enough it got here in about 2.5 wks.

Planned on using 20mg Accutane x 2 months then start with 50mg QD Winny, 50mg Proviron QD, 300mg EQ and Tren Ace 150 week while continuing with the Accutane

I just asked a buddy who was on it from a doctor what duration and dose was.He was on 80 mg per day for 4 months both times.This was prescribed this by a dermatologist.bloodwork every 30 days.The derm told him this was pretty much standard protocal.

Accutane is normally prescribed at .5-1mg/kg/day divided into 2 doses.

this is exactly my deal 40mg twice a day. blood work once a month. im on a 5month protocol.

Theres so many concerns I have with proper ACCUTANE use.
I would use it as last resort and I doubt I would use any oral AAS during its use. Also run a good liver protectant like Synthergine. Monitor your moods and emotions closely if you do run AAS and ACCUTANE at the same time.

yeah that sounds like quoting PDR which is a good to start,but after talking to real world patients it sounds like 80 per day for 4 to 5 months what is being written pretty regularly.have been asking around what derms write.

I totally disagree! You must start out with a much lower dose...Which my doctor did not even consider...

The reason for such a high dose by your doc, is because accutane is sooo expensive so the drug reps are pushing it hard! Why would drug reps care about how you react, if they can get you on double the dose, which means they with make double the cash.

Too put on top of that the stuff kills your appetite! Low dose= better

it all depends on the severity of the acne. it took 5 months to START clearing mine up at 100mg ed. 30mg eod wouldnt do jack shit for me guaranteed.

how do you know, it wouldn't have cleared up with 30mg eod??

It actually takes a while to get in your system before it becomes effective, which means to "START" clearing you up...

I had it horrible as well, and I understand that you feel like it was the only way. BUT you need to at least give it a fair chance, before you give yourself liver disease, miserably dry skin, and permanent skin disorders, why wouldn't you!!!

and maybe ill take 250mg test for the next 5 months and see if it'll get me to where a gram does

its an effective dose. liver values are monitored. side effects are made very clear prior to use and even if they havnt do your own research on the product before you begin. Ill recomend running 30mg eod when i start recomending 250mg test ew for a cycle.
