Personally, I prefer Alpha GPC also known as Choline Alfoscerate. It's a phospholipid metabolite found concentrated in neuronal membranes. It's derived from lecithin & is extremely well absorbed & also crosses the blood brain barrier. In the brain, AGPC supports brain function & learning processes by directly increasing the synthesis and secretion of Acetylcholine. AGPC also protects neurons and improves signal transmission by serving as a precursor to membrane phospholipids.
I'm currently using 750mg/day & love it. Jarrow Formulas has an excellent product that's very affordable. Basically, I'm using it to boost brain function. Don't know how it would improve performance in the gym as I'm not training with any consistency
I started taking Piracetam right after my last contest. I was EXTREMELY weak from my contest prep - so this may not be a good indicator. In the last 12 weeks my strength has been increasing much faster than I expected. I loadup up for first 5 days with about 6 grams and my maintenance dose has been 2.7 ED - divided into 3 doses.
Going to stop taking it after this weekend as I'm going BACK ON monday!
