Alcohol flaring up gyno?

I have a friend who is taking roughly 150mg of prop along with 75mg of tren ace EOD.

He complains of alcohol flaring up his gyno. He usually does not get gyno but when he drinks the next day he complains of it.

It happens to me once in a while when I run tren but never at that low of a dose.

How can alcohol make gyno worse?
 
I am not sure if this is the case with ur friend but liver is the organ that metabolizes estrogen.

Gynecomastia is present in people with high end liver damage because the liver cant no longer do its function and the estrogen hangs around in the body a lot longer.

So maybe after drinking, his liver is taxed, and is not metabolizing and breaking down the estrogen, which is hanging around causing gyno to flare up..

Just an educated guess. :confused: :confused:

Ive actually noticed it myself on a few occasions. If I am not taking an anti-estrogen and I have drinks for more than a few nights in a row. I will notice gyno. I can take some novaldex and it clears up in a few days.

Just thought I would ask because we have both noticed it.
 
I seem to remember reading that alcohol can increase aromatase activity. But don't quote me on it.

I don't drink more than a glass of wine or two every 4th or 5th night with my girl.

We went on a cruise 6 months ago and I noticed this. Than again over the holidays I noticed this and my training partner noticed it as well when he was drinking more than he normally does.

I was just wondering how or why it happens. It's strange than I can run higher doses of test with no AIs and not get gyno. But if I am on say ~350mg test and some tren and I drink a little more than normal that I have a gyno flare up.

It's proven that alcohol will cause increases estrogen...

Yesterday scientists revealed that beer increases serum estrogen levels in men. To prove their theory, the scientists fed 100 men 12 pints of beer and observed that 100% of them gained weight, talked excessively without making sense, became emotional, couldn't drive, couldn't think, and refused to apologize when wrong.

I agree..to be the safest you can be its best to choose one or the other.

I personaly cant answer this myself because I never had probs with gyno ever....but this isnt not the first time I heard of ppl sayin alittle booze flaired there gyno up

Here are some of the effects of acute alcohol consumption on physical performance and adaptations to training:

Decreased aerobic capacity (reduces the body's ability to utilize oxygen to liberate energy during muscular contraction)
Decreased lactate threshold (more lactate accumulates in the muscles for a given amount of work, a condition associated with quicker fatigue)
Increased dehydration (if normal fluid intake is not increased to compensate for the diuretic effects of alcohol)
Reduced glycogen content in muscles (glycogen is the storage form of carbohydrate and is the primary fuel used by muscles; lack of glycogen is the primary cause of fatigue during physical evolutions that require stamina or endurance)
Decreased +protein synthesis+/increased protein catabolism by muscles (resulting in failure to add muscle mass or even loss of muscle mass)
Decreased ability to regulate body heat (resulting in a greater heat load for a given amount of work performed)
Interrupted sleep patterns (less rest and recovery)
Suppressed immune system (increasing susceptibility to bacteria and infectious diseases)
Increased Rating of Perceived Exertion (RPE) for a given workload (meaning a pace that would ordinarily be comfortable will feel harder, and a pace that would ordinarily be difficult may become intolerable)
